First, we have to talk about Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). To start, we can’t get over how different they looked. Especially Spinelli. He was so young and adorable looking. And we loved watching him despair over the things he’d rather do than follow Maxie’s JaSam wedding orders. It showed us that, as much as these shows change, so much remains the same.
Just like with her latest wedding planning endeavor, plus her Deception job, Maxie doesn’t take things lightly. She jumps in full-speed and mows over everyone in her path. That can be a great trait for getting things done. However, being that militant and obsessive about perfection also has a downside. And she had no idea what was coming.

While Maxie was busy confiscating wedding dresses and trying to find more flowers, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was getting antsy. And so was Jason Morgan, to an extent. The quest for the perfect day had them burned out and they weren’t sure how to deal. Sam sure didn’t want to hurt Maxie’s feelings by telling her this is too much. So, the pair decided to take off for a bit to get a breather from all the obsessing. It turned out to be a great decision—for them, at least.

It seems they were lucky here. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal they’d hopped on Jason’s bike, not having any idea where they were going. They happened upon a Chinese restaurant and stopped in for a bite. By chance, the family running the place just happened to include a couple married for 50 years, as well as an ordained minister. Everything seemed right, so JaSam jumped at the idea to do something more “them”.
Personally, we think it’s one of the best weddings we’ve seen on TV. The owners added touches of their culture to the ceremony, which we found both beautiful and fascinating. And the couple actually looked totally happy and at ease, which is rare these days.

However, we might have to look up the following episodes. It seems several characters had big plans for the next day that we want to see for ourselves.
