ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) isn’t having the best of months. After she was stripped from her license to practice law, thankfully her daughter Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is doing what she can to help her mother feel important and needed again. But will it be enough before Alexis heads towards her own downward spiral? Here’s what you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, the show’s co-head writer Chris Van Etten previews it like this, “Sam takes Alexis out to exercise but really the point of it is to get her thinking about anything other than work and what has happened to her career. But it proves a failure because Alexis just can’t get that off her mind. She is at a crossroads, once again.”

Van Etten adds, “Her character is so wrapped up in her occupation and she’s wondering, ‘If I’m not a lawyer, what am? Who am I?’ Sam is there to encourage her mother and to remind her that she’s more than a degree and accreditation and to suggest that there is a lot more to her – still a lot of life left to live. Alexis is appreciative of Sam’s encouragement, but whether that leaves Alexis in a place that helps her move forward in a particular direction remains to be seen.”
