The royal couple have only visited the UK once since their departure from the Royal family in 2020, so to see people who resembled them on the streets was a shock to say the least.
In the pictures here, we can see that the duo are walking in the street. The man is dressed in a military-style uniform, while the woman is wearing an all-white suit. The man professing to be Harry holds a beer in his hand, while the woman holds a cell phone in her hand as she takes a selfie.
To try to make things even more convincing, the pair had allegedly brought a camera crew with them. This was clearly designed to mock the idea that Harry and Meghan are looking to generate more content for their Netflix projects.
This begs the question: Did they manage to convince the public that they were the real thing? Well, according to TMZ, they certainly left an impression. They had allegedly taken photographs with people once the hype started to generate.
And by the looks of it, the couple were quite convincing. TMZ was quoted as saying: “The two stopped to take photos with castle visitors, and according to reports, actually were able to convince some they were the real deal.”
Naturally, it is not surprising to hear that a lot of people had something to say about this on social media. A certain subset of people were of the view that this was a publicity stunt. Meanwhile others could not help but mock the fact that the pair had done something so outrageous. One person wrote: “People are weird!!!”
