LeBron James, also known as King James is one of the best basketball players in recent time, but he’s also made a name for himself being very outspoken on social issues. However, he may have crossed the line with his latest tweet when he called out a police officer and said, “you’re next”.
The tweet followed the shooting of a 15-year-old girl who was armed with a knife and was about to attack an 11-year-old. The police officer reacted with force and the young girl with the knife was killed, saving the lives of the other children she was about to attack.
A Cop’s TikTok Video Has Gone Viral Mocking LeBron James
This was immediately met with terrible words and threats to the officer, who, in accordance of the law and policies, did what was arguably the correct thing and saved lives. Like we said though, this didn’t stop LeBron from tweeting.
James ended up deleting the tweet and posted several follow ups explaining why he shared that. However, if it’s on the internet, it’s there forever. This has led to one police officer going viral for a TikTok video in which he mocks LeBron by “calling him on the phone” and asking what he should do about a suspect with a knife about to attack another person.
The police officer continues to make fun of James and ends the call by saying Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time before hanging up.

The video is just under a minute and has garnered a very divisive response. On one side we have people saying he is absolutely wrong and everything in the video is incorrect while on the other side you have others speaking out against athletes and actors putting their own spin on police policies and acting like they know what’s best.
