During a recent visit hosted by Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara, a mental health advocacy group, Meghan Markle told teenage girls that she is “one of the most bullied people in the world.”
Meghan Appeared At An Event For Girls Inc.
This trip was her second solo appearance in a week, as it seems Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to start separate PR brands to boost their public image.
Meghan also recently attended a Children’s Hospital Los Angeles gala. Harry and Meghan’s solo outings continue to increase as the couple wants to move in different directions.
Girls Inc. is a non-profit group that inspires girls to be “strong, smart, and bold.” The group aims to improve young people’s relationship with technology.
The Sussexes will still do joint engagements but will appear individually more often. Harry and Meghan tend to use causes such as their anti-bullying social media campaign to further their own agendas.
In the past couple of weeks, Meghan Markle has faced bullying allegations in which former members of her Archewell staff have come forward and claimed the Duchess is a “dictator in high heels” and has made grown men weep with her constant belittling of others.
Former aides also claimed that Meghan bullied the staff at Buckingham Palace. She apparently caused quite a few royal aides to quit during her brief stint as a working member of the royal family.
For Meghan to go to an event like this and talk about how bullied she is is hypocritical and very convenient, as she’s playing the victim role to avoid criticism and having to take responsibility for bullying others.
Meghan never admits what she does to others and often turns the tables and claims she was the one who was mistreated and misunderstood.
Meghan Markle Claimed She Was Bullied During Her Pregnancies
Larissa May, the founder of this group, participated in the event with Meghan and the girls.
“We did an activity where we talked through a bunch of scenarios, and Meghan talked about being one of the most bullied people in the world,”
May said,
“We had girls wave these little signs and talk about how each one of these scenarios would have impacted them emotionally,”
May explained,
“With Stephanie and Meghan, we talked about what it really means to grow up in the digital age.”
In March of this year, Meghan discussed the hateful cyberbullying she received while pregnant with Archie and Lilibet. She was shocked by how “catty and cruel” people were on social media.
Harry and Meghan also launched an initiative called The Parents Network to help parents whose kids were bullied online and committed suicide.
Meghan has admitted in the past that she’s contemplated suicide. During Meghan and Harry’s March 2021 interview with Oprah, she talked about enduring abuse from the press and social media.
“I haven’t really scraped the surface on my experience,”
She said.
“but I do think that I would never want someone else to feel that way, and I would never want someone else to be making those sorts of plans, and I would never want someone else to not be believed.”
Girls Inc. wants to help teenagers socialize without screens and teach them to use technology for creativity and positive contact.
