Recently Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson surpassed 200 million followers on Instagram and made a video celebrating the accomplishment. However, after having some time to soak in it, he explained what it was like to be the most followed man in America and shared a photo from a Deadline article.

He explained what it was like in the past few weeks and what it means now. Of course, all anyone wants to know is if he’s going to run for President in the future. Take a look at his post below that he uploaded to Instagram with the following caption,

“Officially the most followed man in America ????

    What a past few weeks.
At times very loud & spicy ??

I spoke my truth with a little poise, dignity & respect and here’s the result/

Tidal wave of quiet support surging past 200 MILLION followers on IG. 300M+ total across all platforms.

#1 Most followed man in America.
    (and #1 daddy at home;)

Love you guys and thank you!
Let’s keep building and putting in the hard work

The comments are another story, however, as everyone has used his post and platform as a battleground for political and economic debates because Johnson isn’t just a regular guy, is he? It’s become a bit too far gone in recent memory and people need to remember that he is a person like the rest of us. While he has an enormous following, this doesn’t make it a forum to argue about corrupt politicians on both sides of the spectrum, does it?

What did you think about his accomplishment and how many followers do you think he will amass to in the future?

What do you think? Do you follow Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson? Let us know in the comments below.
