CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Chancellor park has been getting a workout in recent weeks. I think we all understand that because of COVID-19, the actors have had to distance themselves and the park provides the allusion of being “outside” (it is a set, isn’t it?), but why didn’t they use it this much before?

It’s not a bad little space and we’ve seen it being used a lot recently, though I don’t remember seeing it much before. You would think it’d be in the rotation for often but now, I’m just tired of seeing it, and we’ve had some pretty awful scenes in it. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) love to make us cringe in it, and today we got to hear about swans!

Today, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) blew off work and went to the zoo, as responsible adults do, and Chance didn’t get to see his tigers. Big character development, but more importantly, Abby wanted to spend most of the time looking at the swans. That’s nice, maybe she just likes swans and thinks they’re beautiful.

Nah. She likes swans because they mate for life! Yeah! What? Man, if I was Chance, I’d be pretty upset I didn’t get to see tigers because Abby was thinking about swan relationships. Obviously, it’s supposed to play into their relationship, but, terrible moment.

Also today, we see Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at the same park. That groundskeeper must be putting in the hours!
