CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers knew it was only a matter of time, but business has once again picked up in Genoa City.
While Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) continue their not so cold war, Adam’s actions are going to rekindle uneasiness between Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
For us, this kinda seems like the status quo for the family, and ‘Young and the Restless’ would be shocked if they one of the Newmans didn’t cause angst for the others.
Speaking of families imploding, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is going to have her hands full when she deals with her wonderfully short sighter daughter, Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Unlike the Newmans, this argument, er, discussion could be entertaining as Summer can give as good as she gets and we’ve seen Nikki and Victor fight a million times.
Doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy it, it’s just a fresher feud is fun at times.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 8: Adam’s influence
Whether it’s his name being mentioned (this doesn’t surprise us given mentioning Adam’s name causes a migraine for many) or he’s pulling some con, few outside of the Abbotts get Victor’s blood boiling more than Adam.
And like always, Adam’s going to cause a rift between Victor and Nikki, and ‘Young and the Restless’ think it’ll be from Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s accident.
This could be a reach given Billy just found her, but word travels fast in Genoa City.
Nikki will try to explain to Victor that he shouldn’t get upset over Adam, and he’ll take it personally.
Add in the fact that Nikki will probably throw Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in his face, well… anyone have ringside seats?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 8: Phyllis’ stand
Phyllis isn’t happy about the email about her daughter eloping with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), though it’s not much of an elopement gets emailed to everyone, but maybe that was the point?
Still, we expect Summer to go after Phyllis with everything she’s got when confronted, and we’ll get to see some more of Phyllis’ famous stubbornness.
We expect her to be calm and reassuring, but when Summer pushes her, Phyllis will dig in her heels and put Summer in line and settle her down so she can explain.
Their interactions have been some of our favorites lately, and we expect this to be another good one.
