According to reports, General Hospital producers have made no comments about what will happen next for Nina Reeves. With Michelle Stafford making the switch to The Young and the Restless, there’s a possibility that producers might recast the character with a brand new actress. Or, they might simply decide to fade Nina out with the hope that Michelle could one day come back to General Hospital to reprise her role.

There’s also the question of who should play Nina. While there’s no doubt that many daytime television stars like to switch from one soap to another, it’s been rather quiet on the Nina front lately. However, fans have already picked some of their favorites for the role, including actresses Cady McClain, Alicia Minshew, Noelle Beck, and even Alicia Coppola.
That, or Gina Tognoni could simply take over the role! A lot of fans made it no secret that they were heartbroken over the fact that Gina was let go from The Young and the Restless. Seeing how she doesn’t have any work lined up for her right now, it would surely make for a great comeback story to see her on General Hospital. So far Gina herself hasn’t made any comments about her future plans. Either way, we’ve got our fingers crossed for her!
