NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Cast And Crew Set To Return To Filming By September

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that we’ve got good news for the show fans who have been wondering when their favorite daytime television show will return to filming again. Well, it looks like it’s happening sooner rather than later. Here’s what you need to know!

According to Deadline, the cast and crew of the hit NBC soap reportedly received an email that said filming is scheduled to begin September 1^st. ‘Days of Our Lives’, along with the other three major network television soaps, suspended filming back in mid-March because of the global coronavirus pandemic.

Unlike ‘Bold and the Beautiful’, ‘Young and the Restless’, and ‘General Hospital’, ‘Days of Our Lives’ is yet to run out of new episodes to air because the NBC sudster films six months in advance. In fact, reports say that DOOL has enough episodes to last the soap well into the fall. Seeing how the cast and crew is not scheduled back until September 1^st at the earliest, it will be interesting to see if the soap will continue to film six months in advance or if they will air new episodes within weeks of filming. ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ began filming in late June and are expected to have new episodes completed and ready to air by mid-July. Both ‘Young and the Restless’ and ‘General Hospital’ are expected to begin filming by mid-July as well.
