NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal there’s one question on a lot of soap fans’ minds. When will DOOL and their other favorite shows go back into production? It’s been a crazy, complicated situation with a lot of variables. However, we have had news on every show buy Days. Let’s see what we know, as well as what one DOOL fan favorite has to say.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The basics
First of all, let’s see where things stand right now. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal the NBC soap has been the only show to stay in original episodes to date. The Young and the Restless and Bold and the Beautiful ran out of shows a little while before General Hospital did. However, GH helped themselves out some by editing the episodes they had in the can to stretch out new content. For a while, no news left fans wondering what would happen.
Recently, Bold and the Beautiful became the first show to go back into production. Although they had to stop again due to some issues with the testing lab and false positives. However, from talk online, it seems that was meant to be a brief pause to get these issues fixed and they were scheduled to be back already. We’ll let you know if we hear anything new. Y&R announced they were planning a return as well. GH recently followed, aiming to resume by mid-late July, but that leaves one show that hasn’t been mentioned in all this production talk.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: New information
Fans of DOOL have been wondering about their show as well. Although ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal new content is still airing, due to their big production-to-air lag. This shut down has significantly closed that window. Most talk online seems to agree they have enough through most of October. Will they get back in time? One soon-to-be former Salem resident has some thoughts.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Insight
We know that Freddie Smith (Sonny Kiriakis) shocked fans when he said he and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) were let go. Their characters are scheduled to leave in September. In the meantime, Smith has been recapping his character and WilSon’s arcs and keeping fans updated on what he’s up to/what he knows.
On Tuesday, he uploaded a video to the Freddie and Alyssa show account about Days and when it might be back. He was clear it is all speculation at this point, but he did say there was a good sign out there. Smith was referring to some pictures circulating online that showed the soundstage they film on being cleaned. He believes this is a sign they’re preparing for a return. He stressed that he didn’t know anything himself, but he talked about these images as well as ways he believed they could handle a return to production. The conversation then turned to that lag and some insight into it.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Breathing room
He spoke about B&B’s return, as well as recapping what the other shows said so far, claiming that their show is in a great position right now. The production lag gives them more time, allowing the cast and crew to observe what other shows are doing/experience as they resume. It might even help them figure out better/more cost-effective ways to return. This attitude is a bit of a turn-around apparently. Check out the episode to see what he said about the lag and how it’s effected the cast before. It’s an interesting listen, and we hope Sonny and Will won’t be out of Salem long.
