ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate we’ve flashed all the way back—to last year. This is one of the first, if not the first, flashback repeats we’ve already seen. While it’s not an ideal choice for getting “new-to-us” content, it’s a nice refresher on a couple of pending stories. Let’s take a look at a few favorite/significant moments.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hints?
The centerpiece of the episode was Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) performance. It was also an early public display of their romance, which later ended for the greater good.
However, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate there may still be hope for them. Seeing the spotlight on their former love makes us wonder if the writers are hinting at a reunion in the future. Relationships are nothing if not unstable in Port Charles. This trip down memory lane has proven that, with so many changes in pairings displayed so far.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Random
If there was one thing that was iffy, it was the scene with Cameron Webber (William Lipton). We’re still not sure what Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was doing with a llama, or why it was at the ball. It was, however, both hilarious and weird to watch Cam opening his heart to the creature.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Fixed
Meanwhile, we loved the feud between Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) in this episode. They’d been fighting over a lost engagement ring for a while at this point, and this episode marked the end of that story. With Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) help, they got the ring back from Mike Corbin (Max Gail). Their handling was spot-on, and we just can’t with the ending payoff.
After getting Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) real ring back, Robert wanted the one he bought to replace it back. Finn got a little sweet revenge by telling him it went to a good cause. We still think this whole rivalry, plus complications with the engagement thing, spells disaster for their future happiness.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Touching moments
There were two things we loved about this episode from an emotional standpoint. The first one involved Mike. Knowing this character is at the end currently makes every flashback episode with him more moving, but this one was even more so. In it, Mike actually remembered they’d performed together the year before. That obviously meant a lot to Sonny, as well as Mike.
Then, there was Anna’s speech at the ball. We loved seeing her talk about her daughter, and how bleak her future looked in 1995. However, Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) beat the odds and thrived. We loved seeing a shout out to the reason the Nurses’ Ball began in the first place, and Sonny’s look when Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) was mentioned was a sweet moment. We’re looking forward to what they’ll do with the ball when filming begins again.
