ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Mike Corbin (Max Gail) condition will continue to decline, as his son Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be forced to prepare for heartbreak. As many ‘General Hospital’ fans know, things have been looking worse for wear for Mike, leaving Sonny and the rest of the Corinthos family worried about his future and whether or not he will make it to the end of the year, let alone to the end of the summer. Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Mike’s Condition In Sharp Decline – Sonny Prepares For Heartbreak
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, ‘General Hospital’ co-head writer Chris Van Etten tell the publication in a new interview, “Sonny is unable to make a snap decision about the direction that he should take, and his father should take in his current state. This is a decision that he is only going to arrive at over the course of a lot of wrangling, and he won’t do it alone.” Van Etten adds, “Luckily for Sonny, he has so many friends and family who will help him arrive at the best decision that he can for Mike – and of course, the best decision is really the least bad among many choices, of which are truly good.”
In other words, things aren’t looking very good in light of Mike’s grim prognosis. Seeing how both Sonny and Mike have managed to somewhat repair their relationship in recent years, this will make things even more difficult on Sonny, as no child wants to be in this position, especially when it comes to their parent. Of course, ‘General Hospital’ fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next.
