Telemundo La Doña spoilers reveal Altagracia Sandoval (Aracely Arámbula) scored a major victory on Friday. It was glorious. Watching José Luis Nabarrete (David Zepeda) squirm like the rat he is was a welcome and overdue sight. For a while now, he’s been defending someone he knows is a killer just because it’s Lucho Navarrete (Bernardo Flores). But there’s always tragedy waiting around the corner in any novelas or soap opera. And this one was a real shocker.

    Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: Victory

First, let’s start with something good. La Doña spoilers indicate we had a full-circle moment in the next-to-last episode of the season. In the premiere, Altagracia disguised herself as a dancer to get José Luis alone. Once she did, she revealed herself and threatened him. See, he’d taken over all her construction business after her legal troubles and supposed death. She’d sworn to get everything back from him. That happened Friday.

Thanks to her skills, she managed to get his employees in an uproar and striking for more money. This completely ruined the company, something Altagracia planned on. In the background, she’d been working at setting up a shell company. The same company that José Luis was forced to sell to at a dirt cheap price. When she revealed herself as the true owner and celebrated her victory in front of him, he lost it. Altagracia probably planned for that as well. She made sure that her lawyer pressed charges for José Luis’ attack against him so he’d be in jail and busy. It’s a great, calculated move. Sadly for her, it had a down side.

    Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: Tragedy

There are some characters you feel are untouchable because of how important they are to a story. Matamoros (Aquiles Cervantes) is one of those characters. He’s been there since the beginning, as Altagracia’s most loyal helper. He had reason. In the season one finale, they talked a bit about how she’d been there for him and offered assistance when no one else would. He’s also very old school. That’s why he decided to stay and keep an eye on Lucho himself after Altagracia caught him, rather than rely on someone else’s computer setup to monitor their hostage/future victim.

Unfortunately, Diego Padilla (Leo Deluglio) is totally under Lucho’s spell, so he risked everything to find him, even carjacking a woman. When he found Lucho, a fight began and he ended up killing Matamoros. Not before he got injured as well. And badly. He was still there and in bad shape when Altagracia discovered the scene.

This was perhaps the second worst blow she’s received this season. Arámbula brilliantly portrayed the pain and horror at realizing her trusted friend/employee was dead.

Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: What to expect

So, what’s next? Well, we can say one of these plot points both gets resolved and is made more complex by Matamoros’ death. We figured he was going to bite it when a romantic call happened just before Diego arrived. Whether this will be followed up in any way, we aren’t sure. But there’s no more romance in the works now, nor any opportunity to further explore Matamoros’ past.

Also, we expect Diego to definitely die. It seems to be the season to kill off the next generation, so why not? Although, we do think she’ll use him to lure Braulio Padilla (José María Galeano) into a trap first. La Doña spoilers promise this finale will be full of action, for sure, and we believe a lot of tragedy coming.
