Tiger King spoilers finds that people are looking into the disappearance of Carole Baskin’s second husband all because of the third episode, even though he disappeared over 20 years ago and it looks like he just vanished into thin air, but as we all know, people just don’t vanish. Usually when someone disappears, it’s because they either want to, or someone makes them disappear.
Carole Baskin met her second husband, Howard Baskin when she had gotten into a fight with her first husband and thrown a potato at him in order to be able to get out of their house. (That is the oddest defense I have ever heard, seriously.) She was spotted by Howard walking along a road alone and he asked her to get in his car but she refused. It wasn’t until the third time in which he pulled out a gun and told her that she could hold it on him as they talked that she finally got in his car.

If you think that Carole found a Prince Charming in Howard you’d be wrong. It looks like Howard was, like a lot of rich guys, obsessed with his money and didn’t want Carole spending any of it. She said it took them four years to finally get married, but that he did and he deserted his wife and kids for her. His first wife, whome they interviewed for the series… wow. If looks could kill, you could tell that she was angry for the whole entire interview. Both she and the daughter that they interviewed and that that rage boiled down to one thing, and that was money.
Howard was a millionaire and from the looks of it he just walked off and left everything, something that no millionaire in their right mind would do. In fact, his Granddaughter was recently discovered on TikTok saying “You think my Grandad just walked away from his massive fortune?” Which is just downright interesting, all things considered.
Howard Baskin went missing at 3AM in the morning when Carole was out getting milk products for the wild cats they were raising. Carole didn’t like the fact that they were raising cubs and taking them from their Mother so young, like, the instant they were born in order to make good housepets. This seems to me like something I would have problems with too, but like my Grandad used to say, “Ain’t nobody worth a bullet.”
People suspect that Carole actually fed him to the tigers because their stomachs are so acidic that when they digest something there is literally nothing left of the carcass, if that were the case then there would be nothing left of Howard for any investigator to find. Several people have come forward and said that in the month leading up to his disappearance that he was afraid for his life. And one of his friends reported him saying that he was going to tell Carole that he wanted a divorce soon and that that was the last time he had ever seen him. He also said that Howard had tried to get a restraining order against Carole stating that she had threatened him? Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Howard could get away fast enough.
It does however look like that this documentary caused more than enough attention to get law enforcement to take a second look at this case all these years later. You know what they say about making sure your sins find you out, don’t you? This is far from over. Stay tuned!!!
