Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate Rodolfo “El Guapo” Espinosa Roldán (Julio Bracho) isn’t the top dog in his organization. Following the raid on his property by Horacio (Daniel Díaz), we learned a couple of surprising things about him and how he’s working. Amalia Ortega (Majida Issa) thinks she had a victory, but we think it’s just the beginning. Here’s what you need to know.
Operación Pacífico spoilers: The raid
As we said, Horacio and his men were ready to take down El Guapo. And Thursday’s episode continued our cliffhanger where Amalia was pointing her gun from one to the other, as though she were trying to decide whether to keep to her principles and leave Guapo alive. In the end, she did kill Horacio, but she wounded Guapo. Still, he managed to get away.
Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate the chaos on the scene was real. In that mess, Guapo ran out. However, Amalia did come away with tons of old floppy disks full of ammunition. El Guapo is no more the powerful myth. His alias is all over the news, as is his face. But it looks like this story isn’t close to done.
Operación Pacífico spoilers: The “rescue”?
Following the escape, Guapo was approached by a cop car. He tried to pass off his injury as nothing and go on his way, but they begged to differ. They insisted Guapo get in the car. That’s where he was injected with something and driven off. We thought, at first, it was part of Horacio’s group, or maybe another cartel. But we were beyond wrong. Operación Pacífico spoilers reveal this thing is bigger than Amalia might guess.
Operación Pacífico spoilers: Surprising twists
So, this episode contained a couple of surprise twists. The biggest is that El Guapo isn’t really the top dog. There’s other people above him who seem to really pull the strings. In fact, when he learned his identity and everything was all over the news, Guapo offered his life to pay for his mistake. Amalia probably isn’t expecting that, and we doubt the info on those floppy disks will help.
A second surprising move is how benevolent the people Guapo works with are. There was no need to offer his life in exchange. They’re going to take care of getting him out of the country. And, they even let him see his wife before he got on a plane. The next twist, however, proves just how gentle these guys apparently are. Or how loved Guapo might be, as well as someone else.

It turns out Guerrero (Emmanuel Orenday) isn’t dead. They faked it, and he’s currently safe and sound, even being part of the goodbye to Guapo. This was not expected. Usually when a situation like this happens in shows, the person did die for the greater good of the organization. It shows just how connected and powerful the real puppet masters are, faking a death in front of all those cameras. There are people to pay off, documents to forge. It easier just to cut one’s losses. We’ll be curious to see more about how this all works over the coming weeks, as well as what other surprises the show might throw our way.
