British Royal News: One British Comedian Gives His Support To Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Post-Megxit
While there are a lot of people that are slamming the couple for their decision, John Oliver is backing them up. That’s because he knows just how vicious and unfair the British press can be while adding that this was something a lot of people saw coming for many months now.
“I think they’ve absolutely done the right thing,” he said in an interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show. “It was a horrible situation for them to be in. I think one of the recent times I was on this show, before the wedding, I was saying this is gonna be rough. The British tabloid press is rough on royalty. So I understand why they wanted to get out of there.”
