EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is clearly smitten with Chad DiMera’s (Conner Floyd) former flame, Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord).
Will Chad Warn EJ Not to Pursue Cat?
DOOL spoilers hint that EJ may be planning to ask Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for more hypnosis to help him uncover more memories about his past with Cat.
EJ and Cat were both in the same rehabilitation clinic in Italy, recovering from their respective traumatic injuries. Apparently, Cat would sit vigil by EJ’s bedside.
She read the romantic novel, “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Brontë, to EJ while he was in a coma. EJ will become increasingly interested in Cat and may ask her for a chance.
However, unbeknownst to EJ, Cat is an ISA agent currently working on a case with FBI agent Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to bust him.
We have to wonder if Chad will issue a warning to EJ not to pursue a romance with Cat. Chad was very protective of her and told him not to go after her before.
Chad was afraid that EJ would be there to “pick up the pieces” after he broke up with Cat. DOOL fans recall that Chad really didn’t want to break up with her, but Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) was relentless.
She pretty much left Chad no choice since she was about to fight him for custody of his own kids! So, Chad told Cat he couldn’t see her anymore, which broke her heart, but she understood he had to put his family first.
How will Chad react if he finds out that EJ is trying to woo Cat and take her for himself? Of course, there is a guy code involved in these kinds of cases.
Cat and Chad Obviously Still Have Feelings for Each Other
Brothers really aren’t supposed to date each other’s exes, but the simple truth is that Cat has chemistry with both EJ and Chad. What’s a girl to do?!
It was obvious from their recent meeting in Horton Square that Chad and Cat still have feelings for each other. Sadly, their romance was forbidden.
Not that Jennifer Rose even has the right to dictate to Chad whom he can and can’t date, but she made him choose between Cat and his children.
Now, Cat is free to date whomever she pleases. She may decide to date EJ. Obviously, it would pose a definite conflict with her position at the ISA. However, there may come a point when Cat can no longer deny her attraction to EJ.
DOOL spoilers for May 15th suggest that EJ and Chad have a tense discussion at Brady Pub. Will it be over EJ’s interest in Cat?
It could also be about the freshly “resurrected” Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford). EJ brought her back to life with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) special serum combined with the miracle drug, Versavix.
Chad isn’t too thrilled with EJ’s decision to play God with their sister’s life. Perhaps that could be another topic that the two handsome DiMera brothers debate.
That said, EJ is becoming more obsessed with learning the truth about Cat. If EJ digs deep enough, he’s bound to learn she’s secretly an agent.
Since EJ is on his own personal mission to finding the key to unlocking Cat’s heart, will he inadvertently discover that she’s ISA and has been investigating him all along?
