‘General Hospital’ spoilers pose the question: Is Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) prediction that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevy) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning) don’t have a future together correct, or will he win her over?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt Warned Cassius to End His Relationship with Lulu
Britt warned Cassius that he needed to end it with Lulu because Lulu thinks she’s fallen in love with warm, kind, good-natured, loyal Nathan West.
However, the man whom Lulu has really fallen for is nefarious and somewhat devious. Yet, we can see that Cassius’s feelings for Lulu are genuine.
It’s also obvious that he cares about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). From the moment he saw Rocco on the pier after Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) was shot, he’s been covering for the kid like crazy.
Britt now knows that Rocco shot Cullum and that Cassius knows. Cassius promised her that no harm would come to Rocco, and no one would ever find out. He would never rat him out.
We also know that Cassius has no options here; he really can’t tell Lulu the truth, or Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) would probably kill him as soon as the words came out of his mouth.
Britt reminded Cassius that he has no long-term plan for when (not if) the truth inevitably comes out. Right now, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is putting the puzzle pieces together and realizes this man may not be Nathan.
Britt thinks Cassius and Lulu being together is a disaster waiting to happen. She suggested that Cassius take his pick from the long list of reasons that Nathan would break up with Lulu.
Britt told him to say he couldn’t do this to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) or say that he’s not ready, whatever it took to leave her.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cassius Admitted to Britt that He’s In Love with Lulu
That’s when Cassius admitted to Britt that he has no plans of breaking up with Lulu because he’s in love with her. He thinks that love will be enough to sustain this relationship even when the truth comes out.
The issue here is that Cassius isn’t looking at the big picture. He doesn’t see the forest through the trees. However, Cassius told his sister that he would continue to pretend he was Nathan indefinitely.
With Agent Jacks on the case, Cassius’s secret is about to burst wide open. So far, Cassius has been able to fool everyone around him, including his own mother, Liesel Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
We have to wonder if Britt will be the one to reveal the truth to Lulu. Britt has no allegiance to Lulu, but she can empathize with how Lulu is going to feel.
Britt and Cassius have only known each other for two years, but Cassius apparently did save her life.
However, Britt still doesn’t trust him. She questioned his intentions toward Rocco and accused him of telling Cullum that Rocco pulled the trigger the minute it suited him. Yet, Cassius seems genuine about wanting to protect Rocco.
It’s only a matter of time until the truth comes out about Cassius. Could Lulu ever forgive this man for deceiving her in the worst way possible, or will she write him off for good?
By the time Cassius’s secret is exposed, Lulu may be head over heels, and the reveal is going to break her heart.
