‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers pose the question: Will Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) try to frame Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) only for it to backfire as Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai expose Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) real shooter?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Willow Use Chase to Frame Kai?
In the April 6th episode of GH, Willow asked Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), out of nowhere, about whether Kai was ever a suspect in Drew’s shooting.
She led into the conversation by explaining to Chase that her chief of staff was conducting background checks on everyone in her office, including Kai.
There is some speculation that she may use Chase to frame Kai. Willow now knows that not only were Kai and Trina at Drew’s house that night, but they also know that she shot Drew.
The pair heard ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ while they were at the house, hiding in the bedroom as the shooter pulled the trigger.
They didn’t realize that the lullaby was Willow’s ringtone for Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) until they heard it again at the courthouse.
Kai and Trina figured out that Willow was guilty, despite her receiving a not-guilty verdict at trial. Of course, Willow can’t be tried again due to double jeopardy.
However, her position as a Congresswoman and her custody agreement with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) are at stake.
Kai has a key to Drew’s home, and he used it to let Trina in that night. Interestingly, he also stupidly touched the baseball bat, and his fingerprints are on it.
That could turn out to be very convenient for Willow. She could easily mention something to Chase. She’s also crafty enough not to incriminate herself in the process.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Could Warn Kai and Trina If She Goes Down, They Go Down
Since he’s so blind when it comes to Willow, he may listen to her and conduct his own rogue investigation. Again. His soft spot for Willow already cost him his job at the PCPD.
Of course, Willow could also take matters into her own hands and warn Kai and Trina herself that if she goes down, they go down right along with her.
After all, they kept a lot of pertinent information from the police. A stern warning may even be enough to get them to back off.
However, we really don’t think that Willow would go after Kai or Trina and physically harm them. At least, we want to believe that Willow wouldn’t do that to anyone except Drew, who admittedly may deserve his karma as a helpless vegetable.
Then again, Willow telling the truth about her inner killer doesn’t really seem like her style. She seems like she’d much rather make people think she’s an angel who would do no wrong.
It ties into the identity she had with everyone as a nurse, mother, and Michael’s wife before the Drew thing happened, and everyone thought she was little Miss Perfect. She would probably rather let Kai and Trina go down without saying a word.
That way, she could maintain her façade as the dutiful, loving wife to Drew and as a good citizen, willing to step into his role as a politician and selflessly serve the people of Port Charles. That may be even scarier than the truth.
