‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that after we saw the March 3rd episode of GH, we suspect that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) are about to embark on their new chapter as parents.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn and Chase Discovered a Pregnant Delilah Passed Out
Brook Lynn and Chase were out on a romantic walk together and came upon a young woman named Delilah (Lily Cardone), who was unconscious, and rushed to help her.
It wasn’t a crime like a mugging, but a young pregnant woman who desperatley needed help. She had passed out, and was in an incapacitated state.
As Chase and Brook Lynn started to walk her back to the hotel, Delilah screamed out in pain. Turns out, Deliliah was seven months pregnant, and after she arrived at the hospital, it became clear why GH brought her character onto the canvas.
It’s likely that she’ll die, and Brook Lynn and Chase will raise the baby together. After Delilah was admitted, she was examined by Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Britt detected internal bleeding and determined that an emergency C-section was necessary. Deliliah squeezed Brook Lynn’s hand tightly and screamed that she thought something was wrong, then passed out.
We think the character, Deliliah, may tragically pass away, leaving Brook Lynn and Chase to care for the new baby. It’s basic soap 101.
Recently, Brook Lynn and Chase have endured some marriage troubles since Chase has been trying to “prove” that Brook Lynn’s cousin, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Chase was demoted from his job as a cop due to his unwanted interference in Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) case. He even got into a physical altercation with Michael at the Q mansion.
Michael accused Chase of putting the key to Drew’s house on his keyring after Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) saw him with his dad’s keys. Willow is the guilty party, although Michael doesn’t know that yet.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn and Chase’s Marriage May Survive This Willow Drama
Brook Lynn warned Chase that he had to make a choice: either pursue his vendetta against Michael or come to his senses, adopt a child with her, and start a family.
Chase chose his wife and the prospect of adoption and agreed to let his quest against Michael go. From now on, he’s going to be on his best behavior, hopefully.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) expressed her fear that Chase won’t let this drop. So, we’ll have to wait and see if he follows through.
That said, we think Brook Lynn and Chase have a fighting chance, given this experience, which we predict will be the beginning of their journey together as parents.
We also think that it will turn out to be Delilah’s final request: that the kind couple who helped her baby by bringing her to GH agree to adopt her child.
Either way, it looks like Brook Lynn and Chase will have good reason to pull together, and Chase may actually truly let go of his issues with Michael.
After all, being a parent changes someone. If Chase and Brook Lynn are responsible for raising this child, that will undoubtedly take precedent.
We can also see Brook Lynn and Chase moving forward, and they may even get their happily ever after, a rarity in soaps. Perhaps Tracy may finally be wrong for once.
