‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) may propose to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to prevent her from going back to Nathan West (Ryan Paevy).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Spinelli Loves Maxie and Is Also Very Insecure
Maxie has finally awakened from her coma, and we fully expect some soapy drama to ensue. Right now, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning) and Nathan have feelings for each other.
Spinelli and Maxie share a home and a blended family. However, Spinelli has already voiced his concerns to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), who advised Spinelli to sit back and see what happens.
Stone Cold told his longtime friend that he was selling himself short and that he may be pleasantly surprised by whom Maxie chooses to spend the rest of her life with.
Spinelli is very insecure, and he loves his Maximista with his whole heart. He definitely doesn’t want to lose Maxie to Nathan.
We have to wonder whether Spinelli plans to ask Maxie to marry him. It’s not so far-fetched to think that Spinelli will become desperate if he sees that Maxie and Nathan are reconnecting.
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is already circling around like a vulture, making Spinelli feel worse than he already does about the situation.
According to Obrecht, Maxie’s true love is, and will always be, Nathan, and Spinelli doesn’t stand a chance.
Obrecht and Spinelli toasted to true love at the Brown Dog, and it looked like Spinelli was up for the challenge. Yet, he may have to work around the cold, hard facts. Technically, Maxie and Nathan are still married.
Since Nathan didn’t actually die, he’s still Maxie’s husband. While Maxie loves Spinelli, her old feelings for Nathan may resurface. She was gutted when she lost him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Maxie Shares a Child with Both Men
Nathan is James West’s (Gary James Fuller) father, and James getting close to Nathan is actually hurting Spinelli. He was the one who helped Maxie raise those kids while Nathan was off God knows where for seven years.
Plus, Maxie also shares a child with Spinelli, their daughter, Georgie Jones Spinelli (Lily Fisher). It may be tough for Maxie to know what the right thing to do is.
That said, once Maxie finds out about Lulu and Nathan’s mutual attraction, she may surprise everyone by giving them her blessing.
After all, Maxie also moved on with Spinelli. She was happy with him before she was poisoned and fell into a coma.
Maxie loved Nathan, but she also loves Spinelli. She may ultimately decide that Nathan is better off left in the past if Spinelli pops the question.
Poor Spinelli has been cast aside so many times, and it would be a shame to see that happen again. He’s stayed loyal and true to Maxie. Spinelli was the one by her bedside, praying for her to wake up, not Nathan.
Spinelli had likely planned to propose to Maxie pre-coma, but since he’s so shy and insecure, he may have held off until he was ready.
Well, as they say, there is no time like the present. Spinelli may ask Maxie to marry him soon. It would make sense, considering his looming fear of losing the woman he loves.
On the other hand, knowing Spinelli, he’ll be the good guy and give Maxie some time and space to figure out what she really wants.
