‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that fans are screaming at their televisions, urging Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to find her inner Bensonhurst and finally dump Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), or at least give him an ultimatum.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn Deserves Better Than Chase
Brook Lynn is one tough cookie. She has never let anyone bully her and has never backed down from a good fight. However, for some reason, she’s actively allowing her husband to disrespect her.
Yet, spoilers indicate that this week, Brook Lynn will lose it on someone, and we think that someone is Chase. Brook Lynn simply deserves better.
She’s been through hell and back, grown into a mature, caring young woman, and has always been a loving and supportive wife to Chase.
Yet, Chase seems to be enamored with his former lover, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen). He’s constantly defending her and coming to her aid.
We all know Willow loves a hero, and he’s playing right into her hands. It’s obvious he’s going to ruin his marriage to Brook Lynn over his never-ending need to protect Willow.
He could have easily “let this go,” as Brook Lynn suggested, but instead, he’s continuing to pursue his own misguided sense of justice by trying to prove that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) framed Willow.
Chase actually used the key that Willow had placed on Michael’s key ring to go to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) home to make sure the key worked.
Chase is relentlessly trying to prove Michael is guilty of shooting Drew. If Brook Lynn finds out what Chase did, she may even suspect that Chase is trying to frame her cousin.
Fans are becoming disgusted with Chase and are already calling time of death on his marriage to Brook Lynn and even his time living at the Q mansion.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Chase Is Obsessed with Trying to Prove Michael Framed Willow
At the end of the recent episode in which Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) discovered that Chase had returned home with Michael’s keys, it seemed to foreshadow that there may be trouble ahead for Chase.
Chase’s obsession with Willow is something that “the old” Brook Lynn would never stand for. She would have never put up with Chase’s foolishness, and he’s basically ignoring his wife’s wishes for him to stop all this.
Where is the fire in Brook Lynn? What about the Bensonhurst in her? She needs to summon her mom, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), with her candid, spitfire attitude, and call Chase out for betraying her family to help Willow.
Of course, Brook Lynn has also inherited Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) spunk, and we need to see her use it on Chase.
I am very curious to see who Brook Lynn lashes out at this week, because I am hoping it’s Chase. He’s in desperate need of a reality check.
Right now, it looks like she’s trying to keep the peace in her family, and even wants to mediate in an effort to ease the tension between Michael and Chase. However, we wouldn’t blame Brook Lynn one bit if she got fed up with Chase and told him to pack his bags.
Brook Lynn and Chase once seemed like the perfect couple. Yet, what kind of future do they have at this point if Chase continues to work against Michael, defending Willow, and ignoring Brook Lynn?
