‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that many viewers are anxious to see Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) fall flat on her face.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis and Billy Teamed Up to Double-Cross Cane and Victor
Phyllis and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) recently teamed up to seize control of Newman Enterprises and take over Victor Newman’s (Eric Braden) company.

Cane was obviously doing it for payback, and Phyllis was doing it for power and revenge. However, circumstances have changed because Victor “kidnapped” Lily Winters (Christell Khalil) and their kids.
Lily agreed to trick Cane into helping Victor take back his company if she was given something in return. Victor won’t reveal to his family what exactly Lily wants, and we suspect it’s likely Chancellor.
Cane made a deal with Victor: he would sign Victor’s company back over to him if he simultaneously released Lily and the kids.
Phyllis became frantic and joined forces with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to take over Victor’s businesses. He agreed to help her if Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) would get Newman Media.

In the February 10th episode of Y&R, Phyllis chloroformed Cane to incapacitate him. She and Billy could transfer ownership of Victor’s empire.
While Phyllis was busy doing that, Billy went to the Newman Ranch to inform the family that Cane had plans to double-cross Victor. Of course, it was a lie to throw them off.
Many fans anticipate that Phyllis and Billy’s takeover won’t last very long. There is a strong sentiment among viewers that Phyllis deserves to crash and burn.
We all know that Victor is never down for long, so her takeover is bound to come to a screeching halt very soon.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Betrayed Her Loved Ones and Family to Gain a Position of Power
Meanwhile, we think Cane will be livid with Phyllis. She was preventing him from doing what he needed to do to rescue his family from Victor’s clutches.
While we know that Victor would never hurt Lily or their children, Cane doesn’t trust Victor for a second, which is why he told him he’d give him back his company.
So, Phyllis not only betrayed Victor and all the Newmans, but she also did Cane dirty. Phyllis’s immense overconfidence is setting her up for a massive downfall.
Phyllis may take the fall for her illegal maneuvering, as Victor and Cane may ensure she pays the price. Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) warned Phyllis repeatedly that she’s end up in handcuffs.

Some fans think Phyllis’s recent behavior is unacceptable. She’s betrayed several of her loved ones and family members in the name of power and notoriety.
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) cut off contact with her mother, and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Grazadei) is extremely disappointed in her.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) also warned Phyllis that there would be “no coming back from this,” but she refused to listen. She may come to regret it.

While most fans seem disgusted with Phyllis, some want her to beat Victor at his own game. After all, Y&R’s mantra, “Victor always wins,” has gotten really old, boring, and repetitive.
Phyllis is desperate for power, no matter how she achieves it. It stands to reason that she’s most likely headed for a major reckoning.
