‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) was found not guilty of shooting Congressman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), which means that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is next on the PCPD’s radar.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Alexis Shared Privileged Information with Diane About Willow’s Guilt
ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) will be out for blood since she failed to score her big win in this case, and she’ll show no mercy going after the son of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
That said, Michael and the fans can breathe a sigh of relief because we all know that Killer Miller (aka Diane Miller, played by Carolyn Hennesy) will save Michael from being convicted and sent to prison.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) knows that Willow shot Drew. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) stupidly went to Willow’s attorney and told her that they heard Willow’s ringtone the night that she was at Drew’s house doing the deed.
Alexis checked the records and realized that Willow was guilty. Yet she continued to defend Willow to protect Scout Cain (Cosette Abinate), and she won the case.
Before she gave her closing argument in court, Alexis shared this information with Diane and invoked the attorney-client privilege.
So, Diane knows that Willow is guilty, and she also knows that Willow is responsible. Diane may not be able to reveal what Alexis knew, but she can pursue the evidence, which all points back to Willow, despite her being found not guilty of the crime.
Drew is desperate to see Michael behind bars so that he and Willow can get custody of the kids. We predict Willow’s ringtone shocker will come out in court.
Kai and Trina won’t let Michael go down for a crime he didn’t commit. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is Trina’s BFF and Michael’s sister, so her loyalty lies with Joss’s family.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael Will Likely Be Found Not Guilty
Since Alexis couldn’t expose Willow, it’s up to Trina and Kai to help Michael. Trina was distraught when the jury returned a not guilty verdict.
Trina and Kai hold the key to Michael’s freedom, and Diane can absolutely subpoena them as witnesses, and their testimony will prove that Michael is innocent.
With Diane in Michael’s corner, she’ll make it clear to the jury that Willow is the one who should have gone down for attempted murder.
Willow likely won’t get the justice she deserves, due to the legal principle of double jeopardy, but she’ll definitely lose custody of her children for good.
Michael won’t exactly be in any position to show compassion for Willow, since she’s the guilty party, yet she still allowed him to potentially go down for a crime he took no part in.
In the meantime, that video footage of Willow is still floating around out there somewhere, and maybe Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will find out Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) role in making it disappear.
Whatever the case, Michael likely won’t be found guilty or serve a single day in prison, given that Diane knows that Michael was not the shooter.
We can’t wait to see GH pump up the drama when Michael inevitably goes free, and Willow discovers that she may not be in prison, but she’s lost all hope of any sort of custody arrangement with Michael.
