‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest there may be a huge legal twist in the Who Shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) storyline, which would be a miracle, since it’s been a long, tedious tale.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Portia Told the Court About Drew’s Blackmail
Last week, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was on the stand at Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial and was forced to confess her affair with Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
She also told the court that Drew had been blackmailing her with the knowledge that she had tampered with Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) test results. The revelation is a massive scandal for both Drew and Portia, and he may wind up in jail soon enough.
He could even lose his seat as a Congressman, as ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) warned him in court that she’d be speaking with him about it later. The situation could cause huge legal issues for Drew and ruin his political career.
It would really be nice for him to face the consequences of his actions. As far as Willow is concerned, we have to wonder if that mystery letter could lead to Willow’s acquittal.
In a recent episode of GH, Willow’s lawyer, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), received an anonymous letter that stated that on the night of Drew’s shooting, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was at Drew’s house, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) saw him.
It’s obviously significant legal leverage she can use in court in case it looks like Willow has no hope of skating for attempted murder.
After all, many GH fans still think Willow was the shooter. She may actually be acquitted of the crime if some reasonable doubt is introduced into the case.
Remember, someone was watching outside the Quartermaine mansion as Tracy admitted to Michael that she knew he had been at Drew’s that night?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Martin Grey Must Have Written the Mysterious Letter Alexis Read
We think Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) was the eavesdropper who overheard the whole conversation. Drew had tasked Martin with finding valuable information Drew could use to help Willow.
Plus, Martin is the one who stands to gain the most from writing this letter. He could not only give the leverage that Drew needs, but he could also kill two birds with one stone by throwing Tracy under the bus.
Alexis can use this intel in court, as it’s definitely a major game-changer for the case. She’s also a very skilled and capable lawyer, and we can imagine she’ll present this letter at just the right time during the trial.
Alexis is strategic enough to know how to utilize the letter to benefit Willow’s case. The letter could be very damaging to others, which means she’d need to exercise caution.
Plus, the traffic cam evidence was deleted thanks to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). Willow is super lucky that the video mysteriously vanished.
It’s possible that Willow was the shooter, but she doesn’t remember because she’s suffering from a split personality disorder, which some viewers have long suspected. Either that, or she really is a red herring.
It would be interesting to see Drew go to prison for extortion, and Willow found not guilty of attempted murder.
Then, later, when Drew finally remembers who shot him, he’ll know that the woman he loves and puts on a pedestal was the one who pulled the trigger.
