‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) may expose her alibi and admit that she was in bed with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) the night of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Curtis Was Arrested for Shooting Drew
In the December 1st episode of GH, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was arrested for the attempted murder of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison, which could actually work out well for Portia.
While Curtis doesn’t have a solid alibi for the night Drew was shot, we really don’t think he did it. Plus, spoilers hint that Curtis ends up giving the police an alibi.
Since Portia is a master manipulator, she may seize the opportunity to pin the shooting on Curtis, especially if she fears the PCPD may knock on her door next.
We can see her doing something sneaky to make sure there is no way she could go down next. Portia and Curtis aren’t on good terms, and we can see Portia somehow throwing him under the bus.
Plus, now that Curtis is moving forward with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), the co-chief of staff has even more incentive to incriminate her soon-to-be ex-husband.
Last week, Ava Jerome (Maura West), sounded the alarm on her gal pal, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), when she told Portia that Nina ratted her out as a potential suspect in Drew’s shooting.
Nina wants to protect her ungrateful daughter, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), at all costs. The soap wouldn’t have had Ava reveal this shocking tidbit to Portia without reason.
Portia wasn’t exactly ready for the truth to come out about her affair with the good doctor. Right now, Curtis still believes he’s the father of her baby. We think it’s actually Isaiah’s baby.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Portia Won’t Go Down Without a Fight
Portia wasn’t even going to reveal the paternity of her child until she had a DNA test done. If Portia exposes her alibi, she could make sure that the focus never shifts to her.
After all, Drew was blackmailing Portia, and the PCPD could easily find out. While Curtis had a motive to shoot Drew, it was Portia who was the one in the hot seat.
The situation could become much more complicated because Portia is worried she could be blamed for the crime.
Not to mention, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was already planning on pointing the PCPD in Portia’s direction. She’s close to Curtis and wouldn’t want to see him go down for a crime he likely didn’t commit.
Whatever the case, spoilers tease that Portia may need to give up her alibi next. Alexis is working with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to shift the blame onto Portia as a suspect.
We also suspect that Curtis was with Alexis the night of the shooting, which could also come out. It’s also possible that GH has already given us a red herring with Willow.
Since Willow is the one who looks the most guilty, we don’t think she actually pulled the trigger.
Despite most fans’ overwhelming belief that she’s the culprit, it’s bound to be someone much more shocking.
Who knows? Maybe Drew staged the whole thing to get revenge on his enemies, namely Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). However, that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be open to hurting Curtis and Portia in the process.
