‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers live seeing old favorites return. They bring back memories of past storylines and make us want more.
But that’s also the problem. The flashback scenes we’re often shown are more entertaining than the current storylines.
It’s been like that for every soap for years, and despite fans voicing our displeasure nothing changes.
The saddest part is seeing how far the first family of Salem has fallen.
Tom Horton (Macdonald Carey) and Alice Horton (Frances Reid) would be appalled at Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves)’s actions.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The fallen star
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers know when we see Jennifer and Jack Deveraux (Mathew Ashford) it’ll be to mourn Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller).
That’s pretty much it.
The thing is, it’s fully understandable for them to continuously mourn their daughter. Having a child murdered destroys parents.
But instead of seeing them grow or try to make a difference, they threaten to sue to take their grandchildren away from their father.
Jennifer is totally out of her mind and Jack backing her is just as nonsensical.
It’s bad, lazy writing at its worst.
There’s a chance they’re trying to show how much Abigail’s death has affected Jennifer, but we’ve seen it for years now.
This is just an obstacle for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) to overcome.
Even Hallmark movies have more depth.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The show can be so much more
We love it when the show gives us great stories well remember fondly.
This one won’t be remembered fondly, if at all.
If they are looking to expose the Horton hypocrisy, then having Chad shine the light on Jennifer and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes)’s lies will work.
Chad will let Jennifer to take his children to save them from trauma, and he should simply point out he’s sacrificing his relationship for their benefit.
When asked why, he can tell Jennifer because she’ll keep poisoning them against him like she’s been doing.
She’ll try to argue and Julie will intervene.
He just has to point out Julie already helped Jennifer with her goal and then move out, since his kids won’t be there.
Let Julie live alone in that big house and let Jennifer feel that pain.
It’s pretty, but no more so than Jennifer’s actions.
It’ll show them what their hypocrisy has left them: absolutely nothing.
If anything will wake them up to Jennifer needing serious help that would be it. But will they do it? Should the writer’s have Chad turn on them and leave?
