‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that when GH castmates were at the annual GH event in Graceland in Memphis this past weekend, they had next year’s Nurses Ball preview.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Braedyn Put Her Own Spin On The Iconic Ballad
One performance that had a lot of heart and has garnered significant attention and praise on social media was by Braedyn Bruner, who plays Emma Scorpio Drake, and Giovanni Mazza, who plays Gio Palmeri on GH.
The dynamic duo performed the legendary 1975 Fleetwood Mac ballad “Landslide.” The song is a tough one to cover as Stevie Nicks pipes in that classic are pure perfection.
Yet, Braedyn Bruner and Giovanni Mazza nailed it! The footage of their performance was truly moving. Braedyn sang the lyrics while Giovanni played the guitar. He even expertly whistled to the tune during the famous chorus.

The song “Landslide” explores spiritual and universal themes. It’s a gripping, powerful, and introspective tune about growing older, life and seasons changing, and facing the unknown.
Theirs was the standout performance of the evening. Castmates and fans were awestruck by their incredible talent. Braedyn definitely put her own spin on the iconic, reflective song.
A few castmates were quick to notice the undeniable chemistry between Bruner and Maza. Kelly Thiebad, who plays Britt Westbourne, shared, “So Beautiful.”
Finola Hughes, who plays Anna Devane, and Emma’s grandmother in the show, said, “Gorgeous.” Kathleen Gati, who plays Liesl Obrecht, noted, “Absolutely fantastic!”
Kristen Vaganos, who plays Molly Lansing Davis, chimed in with, “Okay, I cried?! And I have chills!” The Bold and the Beautiful’s Crew Morrow, who plays Will Spencer, took notice and said, “You guys are awesome.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Giovanni Started To Play The Violin At Age Three
One enthusiastic fan wrote on Instagram,
“OMG! One of my all-time favorite songs! Please make them do this on the show!”
Another fan exclaimed,
“Truly, I would love it if you two revisited this or any other classic rock tribute, maybe for next year’s Nurses Ball.
One delighted fan expressed,
“They’re performing like they’re the only ones in the room, wow! And I didn’t know she could sing!”
The pair showed off some serious skills. Rory Gibson, who plays Michael Corinthos, took to his official Instagram and shared several pictures of his castmates in Graceland, including Mazza and Bruner.
Mazza is known for his violin skills and often plays at major events such as NBA All-Star games. He has even performed at Madison Square Garden.
The young actor is a true talent, as he started playing the violin at age three. He was floored when he got the job at GH and learned the soap would incorporate his violin playing into his character.
We have to wonder, at the next Nurses Ball, will Gio pick up his violin again? Music is obviously in his blood.
Mazza and Bruner have become best friends since working on GH together, and it shows. The two of them clearly have a very supportive, organic connection, which has no doubt boosted the romantic chemistry between their on-screen characters, Emma and Gio.
Whether Braedyn and Giovanni plan to perform “Landslide” at GH’s Nurses Ball next year remains to be seen. Fingers crossed!
