‘General Hospital’ spoilers confirm that Scarlett Spears, who plays Donna Corinthos on GH, is set to play young Glinda in the upcoming “Wicked” sequel, “Wicked: For Good.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Scarlett Stars With Ariana Grande
In the highly anticipated movie musical, Spears will co-star with singer and actress Arianna Grande. The film will premiere in theaters nationwide on November 21, 2025.
Donna is the adorable and precocious daughter of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Spears is a wonderful little actress, and it wouldn’t surprise us if the movie makes her an even bigger star.
The first “Wicked” and its new sequel,”Wicked: For Good,” are based on the beloved 1939 movie musical starring Judy Garland, but are primarily an adaptation of the hit 2003 Broadway musical.
The story of Wicked centers on the unlikely and complex friendship between Glinda, the Good Witch, and Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West. Their story begins before Dorothy arrives in the land of Oz.
The new movie is the “second act” of the Tony-winning Broadway musical and a continuation of the story.
Actors Ariana Grande, Bowen Yang, Cynthia Erivo, and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles from the first film. John M. Chu directs the blockbuster.
The movie takes place years after “Wicked” Elphaba continues to fight for animal rights. Meanwhile, Glinda the Good is watched over by Madame Horrible and the Wizard.
The new film will build the backstory of Glinda the Good Witch and give the audience an inside peek into her early life and how she became a witch.

Superstar, Grammy-winning, and Oscar-nominated Ariana Grande shared an adorable photo of herself on the set on her official Instagram account.
She was in the picture with Spears and wrote a message, gushing about the big impression Spears had made on her. Grande wrote, “My tiny little girl in the bubble, played by the wonderful and talented Miss Scarlett. Brielle.”
She continued, “Thank you for your beautiful work and for allowing the world to understand our Glinda more deeply than ever before. I adore you so.”
The Spears family was over the moon when she received the heartfelt message from the very talented Arianna Grade.
Scarlett’s family responded warmly, “We love you so much, Arianna Grande. What an honor it is to be part of your world. We love you endlessly. Thank you for making this little girl’s dream come true.
Spears was born in Florida and began her acting career at age 4. A natural beauty, she became a model first and then an actress. She was only five years old when she started playing Sonny and Carly’s sweet, precious little girl, Donna.
The charming young actress also appeared in the film Dora the Explorer as a young Dora. It looks like Spears is working on an awe-inspiring and successful career beyond Port Charles.
We can’t wait to see little Scarlett Spears in the new film adaptation of “Wicked: For Good.” We’re sure she’ll grow up to be a major star.
