‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) may lie about the paternity of her baby and tell Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that he’s the father of her child.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Portia Kept The Truth About Trina From Curtis
Her situation seems way too familiar to us. This pregnancy isn’t Portia’s first rodeo. When she was pregnant with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), she was in an oddly similar position.
Portia was married to Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) but was having an affair with Curtis. When Portia realized she was expecting, she claimed that Taggert was the father.
Curtis eventually discovered the truth, but not until Trina was much older. Curtis and Portia were married, despite her deception. However, her little lie should have been Curtis’s first clue not to trust Portia.
The couple recently had a falling out, and Portia was desperate to save her marriage. Unfortunately, Portia’s jealousy of Curtis’s ex-wife, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), was the final nail in the coffin.
Portia couldn’t accept the connection that Curtis and Jordan share. She also drove Curtis away with various lies.
Throughout their marriage, Portia kept secrets from Curtis. Huge secrets that affected their family. The pair managed to get past some of their issues long enough to share one more night together before throwing in the towel.
At the first sign of trouble, Portia immediately slept with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). She believed that her union with Curtis had come to an end.
Portia recently experienced some nausea and morning sickness, and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) asked if there was any chance that she could be pregnant.
The Co-Chief of Staff took the test, and it was positive. However, Portia faces a major dilemma. She has no idea whether the father is Curtis or Isaiah.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Curtis May Change His Mind When He Finds Out Portia Is Expecting
Right now, only Curtis, Portia, and Isaiah know that Curtis and Portia called it quits. Curtis reasoned that after Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooter was charged, they could go public with their separation.
However, if Curtis finds out that Portia is carrying his child, he could easily change his mind. Curtis never experienced all the memorable milestones that come with pregnancy and raising a child.
He missed out on much of Trina’s life, and we could understand if he wanted to be a part of the process. Of course, letting Curtis believe this baby is really his involves getting creative,
She would need to fudge dates and tell more lies. Portia would have to pray that Isaiah would never figure it out.
Curtis also doesn’t know about Portia’s romantic involvement with Isaiah. He would naturally assume he’s the father. He may even see this bundle of joy as a sign that they should make this marriage work.
Portia would also need to break the news to Isaiah that she’s reuniting with her husband and that they’re having a baby. He might be suspicious at first, but knowing Portia, she could sell it.
Hopefully, for Portia’s sake, she learned her lesson from the last time. Yet, Portia has a pesky habit of repeating her mistakes.
We could see history repeating itself for Portia and her lying about the paternity of her baby once again.
