‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) may soon end up pregnant. On soap operas, it’s a common trope for a female character to become pregnant, especially if she’s had sex with two different men around the same time.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Portia Has Been Bouncing Back And Forth Between Curtis And Isaiah
Portia is a bit older for childbearing age, but again, this is a soap. It was only a couple of weeks ago that Portia and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) marriage was back on track after they worked through their latest disagreement.
However, Portia has always been jealous of Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis’s connection. However, Curtis tried to reassure his insecure wife.
Portia and Curtis reaffirmed their commitment to one another. Yet, that green-eyed monster reared its ugly head when Curtis leaned on Jordan after his beloved aunt Stella Henry (Vernee Johnson) was arrested. Portia felt threatened by their relationship.
Curtis, in turn, blamed Portia for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) going after Stella. If Portia had come clean to Curtis about Drew’s blackmail, they could have perhaps devised a solution before it got out of hand.
It wasn’t long after Curtis stormed out of Portia’s office that Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and Portia had sex right then and there.
Isaiah had a crush on Portia, and while they had been engaged in some harmless flirting, they eventually gave in to that temptation.
Portia attempted to fix her marriage once again. She told Isaiah that what had happened between them could never happen again.
The Co-Chief of Staff has been bouncing back and forth between the two men ever since and recently told Isaiah that she reconsidered her decision to cut him off. Now, they are sleeping together again.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: History Could Repeat Itself
We have to wonder if her romantic ping-ponging will lead to Portia’s discovery that she’s pregnant, and she will obviously not know who the father of her child is.
Spoilers indicate that on Thursday, October 2nd, Portia receives life-changing news. We suspect that she’s carrying someone’s baby.
Fans also know this wouldn’t be the first time Portia didn’t know who her baby daddy was. Years ago, when Portia was married to Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews), she had an affair with Curtis. It resulted in them sharing a daughter, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
When Portia found out she was pregnant, she made sure to raise her baby with the man she was married to at the time. She kept the truth a secret for decades.
Trina had believed her whole life that Taggert was her father. However, a DNA test showed that Trina’s biological father is really Curtis. The doctor may wind up in the same situation once again.
Trina found out that Curtis was her biological father around the time her mother and Curtis were about to get married.
Curtis was understandably furious with Portia for keeping his daughter from him. We can imagine history repeating itself with Portia, who never seems to learn from her mistakes.
Additionally, we all know that Portia has switched blood tests before. She may not hesitate to do it again to make sure she reunites with the man she truly loves. We all know that man is Curtis.
