‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) has a lot of work to do before he can win back the love of his life, Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey).
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Xander Is Working On His Anger Issues With Marlena
Xander is currently working on his anger issues with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). At the root of the couple’s strained relationship is Xander’s rage. Marlena has vowed to help Xander understand the origins of his anger and to find healthier coping mechanisms.
There is a lot riding on his therapy sessions with Marlena. His relationship with his daughter is his main priority. Plus, he obviously still loves Sarah very deeply. Deep down, he desperately wants his family back.
Sarah kept a massive secret from Xander about his brother, Phillip Kirikais (John Paul Laviosier). Phillip forged a letter from Victor Kirikais (John Aniston).
In the letter, it stated that Victor wanted Phillip to run Titan. The judge who presided over the case ruled that Xander and Phillip had to share the family company in a 50/50 split.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Xander And Phillip Forged A Brotherly Bond
Sarah found out the truth from Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and agreed to keep quiet because she knew if Xander learned that Phillip tried to steal half his birthright, he would kill Phillip.
Plus, Xander and Phillip had forged a brotherly bond and were working well together. Sarah didn’t want to be the reason why that ended.
When Xander discovered the betrayal, he nearly beat Phillip to death. Sarah was disgusted by Xander’s impulsive and violent reaction, and when Xander learned of his wife’s role in the situation, he was furious with her.
He made it clear to Sarah that what she had done was unacceptable, and vice versa. Plus, Sarah had to treat Phillip when he arrived at the hospital. She saw firsthand the extent of the damage Xander had done.
Sarah and Xander separated, and they started a huge custody battle over their little girl, Victoria Kiriakis (Amelia and Kennedy Hileman).
Their dispute didn’t escalate into the courtroom, but it did become nasty and bitter between them. Sarah didn’t want Xander anywhere near Victoria for a while.
She obviously couldn’t condone Xander’s violent streak, and Xander consulted Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) to play dirty so he could retain custody of his daughter.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Xander Needs To Prove Himself To Sarah
Sarah saw Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) kiss Xander at the Bistro, and Sarah’s jealousy got the better of her, and she kissed Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Xander did what Xander always does, and in his drunken state, he tossed a punch at Brady, who quickly blocked him.
After Xander and Gabi were kicked out of the Bistro, Gabi convinced Xander he needed some help. Sarah told him he was out of control.
Now that Xander realizes the error of his ways, he has swallowed his pride and is actively pursuing a healthy attitude. Sarah has lightened up toward Xander.
A reliable soap leaker has admitted that, despite their marital troubles, Xander and Sarah will never get a divorce.
Even though the rift between them looked bleak for a while, they will get back together and get their marriage back on track.
Both Xander and Sarah are very stubborn people, but it’s only a matter of time and which one of them caves first.
Xander has a violent past and a complicated family history. That won’t change. What will change, however, if he continues therapy with Marlena, is his ability to take responsibility for his actions.
Xander legitimizing Phillip’s role at Titan will go a long way with Sarah. We’ll see how long it lasts, though, since Gabi and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) plan on reclaiming DiMera for themselves.
That said, we predict that Sarah will be proud of the hard work Xander is doing and decide she can’t live without him. It would make sense for Sarah to be the one to make the first move.
