‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that many fans are curious about who Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) mystery boss might be.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cesar May Be The One Calling The Shots
Fans are buzzing that they believe Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) may be the one calling the shots. Not only that, but soap leakers have shared that someone may be resurrected from the grave.
It would be great fun to have Cesar return to wreak havoc on Port Charles once again. A couple of weeks ago, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gait) ran into each other on the docks.
Obrecht admitted to the former double agent that she wishes she had never fallen in love with that evil maniac, Cesar Faison.
Also, Cesar was Britt’s father, and the head writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten, recently teased in Soap Opera Digest that the Obrecht/Faison’s family role in the soap is far from over.”
Another instance where Cesar was mentioned took place today in the August 26th episode of GH.
Anna and Brennan were at the Brown Dog bar, and Brennan reminded Anna of her worst mistake: working with Cesar. He’s been brought up twice now, and it may not be a coincidence.
These two mentions from the writers led fans to speculate whether Cesar would make a shocking comeback.
They also disclosed that whoever is behind the type of project Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) has been working on is “diabolical.”
Van Etten and Korte also teased that Britt’s return is only the start of the “fresh jolt of action” the soap will deliver surrounding her storyline.
Ryan Paevy is also set to return to GH in September. Rumors are circulating that he may be reprising his role as the late Nathan West.
We know Faison was a masterful and dangerous villain, the head of DVX, and he was obsessed with Anna. He brainwashed, kidnapped, and tortured people.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt May Only Get The Medicine In Exchange For Research
When Pascal (Marc Forget), Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and Britt mention the big boss, they always say it’s a man.
Faison also passed on the gene for Huntington’s disease to Britt. He may be sympathetic toward Britt and could have developed a medication for himself that he shares with Britt.
It is likely to help slow down the progression of the illness. But there’s a catch.
She only gets the medicine in exchange for her medical expertise and contribution to whatever shady work he’s doing. That would be incredibly Cesar Faison.
In Soap Opera Digest, the writers explained,
“Britt’s work is one end of a research pipeline. The other end is overseen by Dalton back in Port Charles.”
They continued,
“The work in question is potentially both very valuable and very dangerous. It’s the kind of project you’d have to be both crazy and diabolical to undertake.”
It would also make sense for the boss Britt’s working for to be her father, Cesar. He developed the DVX agency’s biological weapons and other technological advancements.
Plus, Huntington’s disease could be part of the research. Cesar was shot and killed by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) after he attacked Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
The WSB is highly interested in Dalton’s research, and they believe it involves biological weapons. It may have looked like Cesar is dead, but as we all know, death is never permanent in soaps.
We suspect Cesar Faison is the boss when it comes to Britt’s research efforts. As Anna pointed out, his work and weaponizable technology “lives on.”
