General Hospital spoilers suggest that we are wondering when Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will find out that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) snuck into the Quartermaine mansion nursery to steal baby Daisy (Levi Clark Coughlin).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Is Obviously Unstable And Needs Help
While we can certainly empathize with a mother’s desire to see her children, Willow isn’t exactly the poster girl for stability these days.
That sweet schoolteacher who once helped Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) with Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) when he was one of her students is gone.
The question: is that Willow lost forever, or can she be that person again? We aren’t exactly sure. And neither is Michael, for that matter.
When Willow showed up to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) home in her wedding dress, screaming and crying for Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), Michael made it perfectly clear to Willow that she wasn’t allowed anywhere near the kids.
If Michael learns that it was Willow who kidnapped Daisy from her crib, he will no doubt prohibit Willow from ever seeing Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) ever again.
Additionally, it’s strange and a bit disturbing that no one has considered getting Willow the help she so desperately needs.
From what we surmise, Willow had a severe mental breakdown when the judge ruled in Michael’s favor and awarded him custody of their children.
It’s baffling that no one had thought that perhaps she would benefit from some therapy or even a little vacation to Ferncliff.
We applaud Michael for putting his kids first. We think he should find out about Willow snatching Daisy from the nursery, changing her clothes, and gaslighting Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sasha Could Come Home And Be With Michael
Several good things could come out of Michael discovering that Willow was playing games with Daisy. Since there is no real threat to the baby, Sasha could return to Port Charles with Daisy.
The chemistry between Rory Gibson and Sofia Mattsson is off the charts, and it’s well worth exploring. We were crushed when Sasha left the show.
Despite knowing she’s safe with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), it burns to know that Willow prevented a romantic reunion between Michael and Sasha.
That said, somebody really needs to make sure Willow gets help. Some kind of psychiatric intervention is necessary to get this girl’s head on straight.
General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Doesn’t Know If He Can Ever Allow Willow To See The Kids
Michael keeping Willow and their kids apart until she heals is one thing, but he told Carly he doesn’t know if she’ll ever be ready to spend time with them.
We are Team Michael on all fronts, except when it comes to him considering banning Willow from seeing their kids, potentially, for good. And no, we’re not defending Willow’s actions. She herself is solely to blame for Michael getting full custody.
Not to mention, what Willow did to Sasha was heartless and cruel, but she’s obviously unstable. Michael is right. She’s not the same Willow. However, she needs to be willing to do the hard work to become that person again.
Even though they are divorced, we think Michael or someone should get this girl some help. It’s not something Michael has even considered. If she got her life together, perhaps in time she would be able to be around her kids.
In fact, the only person who may be kind enough to get Willow the appropriate help is Liz. If not, a mother may be separated from her children forever.
