We’re nearing the finish line for the Articulettes’ Reunion Concert, and there’s one more hurdle to get over.
Sharon Winger (Bonita Brisker)’s sudden panic attack will cause Tracy Tyler (Maria Howell) and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) scrambling to help her with her anxiety.
There’s a show to go on, and it’s not surprising there are nerves running rampant.
After everyone who wasn’t planning to go was browbeat into doing so, canceling the show would be the worst case scenario.
Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) has been trying to take care of Bill Hamiton (Timon Kyle Durrett) since his stroke. Her latest attempt will be to eliminate the stress in his life, and that means cutting ties with his former family.
It’ll also help her insecurities if he does so as well, which makes us think she’s not as secure in faking her pregnancy anymore.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers have been looking forward to seeing the Articulettes in action. We’re sure we’ll see it since it was in the weekly spoilers, but it’s going to take some work.
Tracy is awesome with how she’s the peacekeeper of the group and she’s hard on Anita and Sharon when needed. But she’s also kind and generous.
That and Anita’s skills will be put to the test in trying to calm Sharon down following her panic attack. We think Sharon didn’t expect the concert to happen, and all of her fear suddenly came to life.
They’ll convince her everything is all right and they’ll only do this together. It’ll give Sharon the focus to work through her anxiety, but there could be another hurdle to come as well.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, August 1: Protecting hers
We love Hayley, but she’s gradually been shown to be insecure in her marriage. It got to the point where the writers decided to make Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely)’s accusations real.
It’s obvious Hayley is faking her pregnancy and getting the ultrasound images from another woman. It makes no sense, but it is what it is.
It’s because of her insecurity along with a desire to keep Bill healthy and safe that she’ll try to convince him to close the door.
Every time he gets pulled into the Dupree orbit he suffers. He wants to sever ties, but he’s bludgeoned back into it.
He sacrificed his image to ensure Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and his family’s reputation remained sterling. Now, he and Hayley are regretting his hero worship.
