General Hospital spoilers for Friday, April 18 reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is taking the hits lately. Meanwhile, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has questions regarding Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Plus, will Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) have to get devious to reach her goal? Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Friday, April 18: The hits keep coming…
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny confides in Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Obviously, he’s worried about the piers and all the negative publicity going on lately. It even made his own grandson think it might be better for Sonny to skip a school event. But Sonny might not get the sympathetic ear he is looking for.
Following her talk with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), Carly will be yet another voice for the opposition. In the promo, she tells Sonny that if he really wants to help Laura Collins (Genie Francis), he’ll get out of the way. We can’t with how suddenly things are turning again. We get he’s got a criminal business. However, Sonny has limits others do not. Like, Sidwell, who seems to be determined to get Sonny out of the way. It’s Sonny’s control that’s keeping worse elements out of town and any loss of territory and PR will have the worse elements itching to get a hold.

In other news, Jason confronts Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). He’ll want to know why she sold out to Sidwell. That’s a very good question! We don’t even know how that stupid idea he had even helped his case. So what if something was stolen from him? That makes kidnapping and bombs okay?
As for Sidwell, Jordan Ashford’s plan is now in motion. She’ll meet with Sidwell, who wants her on his payroll. Of course, she wants to know what exactly he’d like her to do. Whatever it is, she’ll obviously take the job and Sidwell has no idea what he’s up against!

Finally, General Hospital spoilers reveal Joss is hard at work. At least, we believe this is WSB-related. See, we already know Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) is a favorite for that position Joss is supposed to make hers. In the promo, she asks Emma, “Doesn’t this seem a little blown out of proportion?” We wonder if she’s trying to make Emma think twice about applying to make sure there’s one less person in the way of the job. It’s her first WSB assignment, and there’s no chance Joss wants to go back to the boss and say she failed.
