90 Day Fiancé alumni Yara Zaya voiced her criticism against Sophie Sierra amid the Las Vegas Josh Weinstein drama on The Last Resort season 2. The show’s season follows six dysfunctional couples trying to save their marriages through couples therapy.
However, the only couple that isn’t married, Josh and Natalie Mordovtseva, have stirred massive drama along with Sophie. Sophie made claims in the first episode that Josh had sent some suspicious messages through social media. One of these included an invite to Vegas.

Josh’s invitation to Sophie would create an explosion of drama both in the show and online. Natalie would allegedly insult Sophie’s body and criticize her relationship with Rob Warne. In retaliation, Sophie initiates conversations with Josh at a bar in the third episode to make Natalie jealous.
After finding out about the invitation to Vegas from Jasmine Pineda, Natalie breaks Sophie’s drink and fights with Josh, demanding an invitation too. The fight even resulted in online allegations from Natalie about an affair between Sophie and Josh.
Now, Yara Zaya reacts to the mess of drama ensuing with Access Hollywood with much to say on the matter. Sophie had claimed that the drama actually brings her and her husband Rob closer together. However, Yara does not see Sophie’s interactions with Josh as beneficial and rather inappropriate.
She states, “What are you doing in this situation? You’re still married.” Yara claims that Sophie should not be engaging in Josh’s flirtations as a married woman. “obviously he’s flirtation with you and you still answering his text messages. Like, what are you doing? Like it’s too crazy for me.”

It’s unlikely that Yara meant any malice towards Sophie in her comments. Yara looked to be genuinely confused and shocked by Sophie’s actions, especially when married.
Yara is also more popular than Sophie after being on 90 Day for much longer, so she’s likely not speaking for more attention either. Instead, I want to believe that Yara spoke due to her own experience on The Last Resort and how that can relate to the current season.
Yara was the most confused at how Sophie could participate in this drama while trying to fix her marriage. It seems more counterintuitive and distracting from the therapy if anything else.
It’s also odd for Sophie to claim that the drama makes her and Rob closer. Rob has showcased extreme jealousy in the past, so it probably makes Yara wonder if he’s really okay with Sophie talking to Josh like this.
90 Day Fiancé: Yara Takes Natalie’s Side in the Drama
Yara also claims to take Natalie’s side in all the drama. “I think Natalie needs like, I think learn how to behave in a social situation” she states when Natalie calls Josh a “Wh*re” in the latest episode of The Last Resort season 2.
“But again, I will be that person who takes Natalie’s side on that.” Yara understands why Natalie would be so upset and lash out since Josh was blatantly flirting with another woman. A woman at the same resort where he and Natalie were trying to save their relationship.
While some fans may argue that Yara only agrees with Natalie because they’re both Ukrainian, I disagree. Yara throughout the whole interview seems level-headed about the entire drama. D
espite taking Natalie’s side, she still criticizes her for her explosive behavior. She even states that it wasn’t right to blame Sophie for the invitation since Josh messaged her first. However, I wonder how Sophie will feel about the rest which Yara criticized.
