90 Day Fiancé’s Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya were spotted with a film crew in Fort Lauderdale Florida after rumors of the couple’s break up. The couple were first shown in 90 Day Fiancé season 8.
While the two had some communication issues along with Jovi’s problems with staying out at night for too long, the pair managed to get married and have their daughter, Mylah. However, the couple’s issues continued which resulted in their appearance on 90 Day: The Last Resort season one.
Despite the couple’s disagreements over having another child along with other trust issues, the pair still recommitted to each other at the end of the season. The couple had a multitude of problems though.
Jovi had an obsession with strip clubs and partying, and Yara secretly took birth control to prevent getting pregnant again with Jovi. Not to mention that right before the recommitment ceremony, Jovi severely broke Yara’s trust by secretly hiding his contact with a stripper in the resort’s area.
90 Day Fiancé: After All of That, Are Jovi & Yara Still Together?
Considering all that was revealed about the couple and the doubts Yara had about recommitting to Jovi on The Last Resort, a breakup wouldn’t really surprise anyone.
In fact, the main reason Yara decided to recommit was for the sake of their daughter and still having feelings for Jovi. That alone, however, doesn’t make a couple’s problems go away entirely.
In September of 2024, Jovi was asked by a follower if he was still with Yara and his response confused many. Jovi directly answered, “No, we are not” to the follower’s question.
This wouldn’t make much sense considering how both Jovi and Yara’s Instagram pages were full of posts together. Despite this response going viral, many fans concluded that Jovi was just being sarcastic. It’s either this or Jovi and Yara may have broken up for a brief period.
90 Day Fiancé: Yara and Jovi Were Filming in Fort Lauderdale Florida
On October 24th, 2024, Redditor billilovesloui posted a photo that shows Jovi, Yara, and their daughter Mylah with a film crew at a beach in Fort Lauderdale Florida. The caption reads how “Yara is gorgeous in real life and Jovi seems super nice to all the crew. Jovi takes care of their daughter while Yara is getting ready to film.”
At first, it could be claimed that this is just a professional photography crew the couple may have hired instead. However, some photos taken by the crew were leaked which made the 90 Day spin-off rumors spread even faster.
While it is possible that they could be filming segments for a new TLC spin-off entirely, it’s hard to say right now. Instead, the couple could be making a new season or remake of their show back in 2021 titled, “90 Day Journey: Jovi & Yara.”
Considering how long ago the events of this show were, the couple or TLC may want to create an updated version of it. Either way, there looks to be some promise in seeing how far the couple has come since The Last Resort and where they are now.
