90 Day Fiancé’s Darcey Silva and Georgi Rusev are surrounded by rumors of their rocky marriage. After Darcey’s failed relationships with Jesse Meester and Tom Brooks throughout 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Darcey would meet Georgi on social media.
The two would hit it off despite their 12-year age gap and awful communication and trust issues. However, while they did get engaged in the first season of Darcey & Stacey, they would just as quickly call it off by the fourth season.
90 Day Fiancé: Is Another Break-up Between Darcey Silva & Georgi Rusev Around the Corner?
During season 4 of Darcey & Stacey, Georgi would stick around trying his best to get Darcey back. Georgi would showcase his jealousy whenever Darcey would go on dates with other men. He would even go as far as to contact Darcey’s ex-boyfriend Jesse for his opinion on her!
Despite the red flags becoming a deeper red and flying more frantically in Darcey’s face, she and Georgi get engaged again! The two would reconnect during a romantic trip to Miami. This would end with Darcey and Georgi getting engaged at the beach near the end of the Darcey & Stacey show.
Just a week after the airing of this episode, Darcey takes to ET, explaining how she and Georgi broke up AGAIN. Despite stating in her engagement episode how everything “feels right” and that she believed in the pairing, she had a reality check since then.
She states that she was the one to break it off for the sake of herself and her daughters. It had been several months since the recording of the episode and their communication issues never improved.
90 Day Fiancé: The Marriage (Third Time’s the Charm?)
Despite Darcey telling ET about how “she’s closed the door on any possible reconciliation with Georgi,” she in fact opens that same door. Just nine months later in November 2023, a 90 Day Fiance blogger John Yates posted proof of Darcey and Georgi’s wedding showing photos of their outfits.
Darcey would confirm this in January of 2024 in a People interview by stating that they married on the “11/11” date. This date would apparently prove special to Darcey since it is considered a manifesting number. It is also a date honoring her brother and fashion brand House of Eleven. Just like that, Darcey walked backward on all of her words in the ET interview. She knew that going back to Georgi would just make the breakups, “keep happening,” but I guess she forgot when she saw the wedding ring on her finger.
90 Day Fiancé: The “#Singlevibes” Post
On April 28th, Darcey posted on her Instagram something that would spark the first round of break-up rumors with Georgi. Putting her extremely filtered face and video aside, Darcey’s caption reads, “Solo vibes only! Independent and fierce.” She would also have some hashtags with the most prominent one being, #singlevibes. Right off the bat, fans began to speculate if she and Georgi had already broken up or if they were in a messy break. Either way, it was to the shock of nobody.
90 Day Fiancé: Darcey & Georgi Spotted Together & “Relationship Stresses”
As predictable as Darcey and Georgi’s break up was, it’s just as obvious that the two would end up right back together. Paparazzi would find Darcey and Georgi in public in December 2024.
The couple were holding hands and it seemed like things were right back to where they were before. When InTouch asked Darcey’s representative, Michael London about her marriage, he stated, “They are going through some normal relationship stresses but they’re fine.”
While things look to be okay between Darcey and Georgi for now, I just don’t buy the marriage. The couple have been on and off so many times that it’s comical for Darcey to have married Georgi at all.
What Darcey stated about Georgi in how the breakups will keep occurring has only been proven true so far. Even if they are going through some “normal relationship stresses,” those issues will only build up and we will be here to watch.
