‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) knew she was in trouble when she woke up in Turning Woods and heard Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) voice.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sam Was Given A Fatal Dose Of Digitalis
She broke out of the facility when she got the chance and made it home to Port Charles after hitching a ride from Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
Lulu didn’t realize that she was in a coma for four years. There are numerous questions she’ll have and it will be difficult for her to process all of it.
That being said, Lulu may have some answers herself, and doesn’t know it yet. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) donated a portion of her liver to Lulu and saved her life.
Sam ended up dying after surgery, and it was a shock to everyone. However, Sam died of a heart attack. She was a healthy, vital woman who had made it through the operation with flying colors.
It was apparent something shady happened. We just learned that Sam was given a fatal dose of digitalis, which was the cause of her death.
Fans have suggested on social media that Cyrus killed Sam to make amends with Lulu to give her a free and clear path to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) upon her awakening.
Before Lulu fell into a coma, Cyrus ordered Julian Jerome (William deVry) to bomb the Floating Rib. After the explosion, Lulu had a brain injury, which caused her to slip into a coma.
Cyrus is absolutely capable of murder, and it looks like he had access to Sam’s room at the time of her death, as he could have been going in and out of patient’s rooms to pray for them. Lulu even remembered a time when Cyrus threatened her own life.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cyrus Made It Clear He “Took Care Of Everything”
Lulu may not recall the gory details, but Cyrus clarified that he “took care of everything” while Lulu was asleep.
The villain could have told her what he did to Sam and why. Lulu just found out that Cyrus is her uncle. Lulu knows how dangerous he is and instinctively knew she had to get away from him.
Cyrus could have confessed that he murdered Sam to Lulu, whom he thought she was out of commission. Perhaps that’s why Cyrus was so eager to have Lulu transferred to a long-term facility in South Carolina.
This could explain his need to get Lulu far away from Port Charles. Cyrus may even have shared his plans to kill Sam with her. Lulu may not even realize she has that memory inside her yet.
Lulu will soon learn the sacrifice Sam made for her and that she passed away after a successful surgery. The memory of Cyrus’s confession could come flooding back to Lulu as she thinks about the situation on a deeper level.
Lulu may need some time to think about it, but viewers already suspect that Cyrus is responsible for Sam’s murder. If Lulu remembers, she could tell the police and put Cyrus behind bars. Lulu could get justice for Sam’s life the way Sam got justice for her.
