‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers confirm we didn’t want this day to come, but we are bracing ourselves for Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) dramatic exit this fall, as the character is marked for death.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sam Will Dive Into Dangerous Waters For The Gun
Spoilers hint that Sam will go diving into dangerous waters for the gun. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tossed the weapon over the footbridge to protect Kristina. She wanted to prove she did not shoot Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington).
If spoilers are correct and Sam dies trying to save Alexis, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) will likely add this to her list of grievances against her sister, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
Molly has already gone to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) with her suspicion that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is the one who killed Agent Cates, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is providing him with a fake alibi.
Anna quickly informed Molly that this case was no longer within her jurisdiction. However, it was now a riddle for the FBI to solve.
Molly didn’t seem to accept that and took a shot at Anna, accusing her of not really being a defender of justice after all.
As if on cue, Kristina walked into her office and was about to open her mouth with the truth about the missing gun and how it wasn’t Alexis who killed Jagger, despite the evidence.
Spoilers suggest Anna will be more inclined to want to take Sonny down, which Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) won’t allow.
When Sonny tells him he wants to turn himself in, Jason will likely tell him they need to find the gun to get Alexis off the hook, which is where expert diver Sam comes in. We can see Jason asking Sam to help retrieve the gun. This is her final heroic act.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Kristina And Molly May Fight At Sam’s Memorial Service
We know that despite GH fans’ ongoing efforts to save Sam, plans to kill her off will proceed. Assuming Sam dies in a diving accident, Molly will no doubt blame Kristina for setting off a chain reaction that got Alexis in the mess she’s in when this could have all been avoided.
The oldest Davis girl, who felt like it was up to her to save their mom, died trying to make things right. If Sam’s memorial service goes down like baby Adela/Irene’s did, Kristina and Molly will be at each other’s throats as it turns into a disaster.
Sam wouldn’t want her sisters to be estranged; Alexis may point this out to them. However, knowing Molly, this won’t stop her from holding a significant grudge.
Molly will be furious that Sonny wasn’t made to pay for his crime. Also, Kristina took the gun from his safe which involved Alexis. We knew Sam’s impending death would play out sooner rather than later. So we could see the show setting up this storyline to play a significant role in her exit.
The soap Gods have a plan, no matter how much it sucks. We think Sam’s swan song will give Molly a reason to continue to condemn Kristina. We will witness the fallout between the Davis girls for a long time.
