‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that on July 29th, Haley Pullos (ex-Molly Lansing Davis on the show) completed a three-month jail sentence for a 2023 DUI incident.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Pullos’s Drunk Driving Accident Was In April 2023
She was immediately placed on a five-year probation and will complete 200 hours of community service.
Pullos also lost her driver’s license for a year and is court-ordered to complete a nine-month alcohol education program and undergo mental health treatment.
The judge also ordered Pullos to pay restitution to the other driver whose car she demolished. His parting words to Pullos were a warning never to drink and drive again.
Pullos’s car accident was in April 2023. She was drunk and had a blood alcohol level over three times the legal maximum in her system. She was driving the wrong way on the freeway and collided head-on with another car, seriously injuring the other driver, Courtney Wilder.
Wilder was immediately rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. Both cars were totally wrecked when first responders arrived at the scene. Pullos was unable to exit from her car. Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to free her from the vehicle.
In his lawsuit, Wilder said that Pullos screamed at the first responders who were trying to help her and yelled at them to “Take their hands off her $400 f***ing shirt!”
When Pullos was released on Monday, her parents were waiting to greet her. She was also met by a man who appeared to be her older brother with the family dog. Haley’s GH Mom, Nancy Lee Grahn, who plays Alexis Davis on the show, was also there to give her a welcoming hug.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Kristen Vaganos Is Doing A Beautiful Job Playing Molly
Grahn, who was very vocal about her support for Pullos, insisted that the 25-year-old-actress in jail then was “taking it all with stoicism and grace” and was “so incredibly proud of her” for taking accountability.
There was also evidence that she had been drinking behind the wheel. Police found empty bottles of alcohol strewn all over the car.
Before her sentence, Pullos insisted she was not guilty and wanted the judge to order Wilder to pay her legal fees. She eventually turned herself in, hoping to get time served toward her expected 90-day sentence.
Pullos, who joined the General Hospital cast
when she was 11 years old, grew up on the show’s set and was very popular with fans.
She was dropped from GH one month after the accident, and a parade of Mollys subsequently followed her. The first one, Holiday Mia Kriegel, was only temporary.
The second one, Brooke Ann Smith, wasn’t well-received by fans. The actress, who was about ten years older than Molly, and was driven off the show.
Finally, GH got it right when they selected Kristen Vaganos to play Molly’s latest incarnation. She fits in better as a member of the Davis Girls clan and has been praised for her work so far.
Hopefully, the show keeps the good thing they have going with Vaganos and doesn’t rehire Pullos as Molly.
