‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ric Is Molly’s Dad And Sonny’s Brother
Ric is Molly Lansing-Davis’s (then Haley Pullos) father, Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) half-brother, and Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) ex-husband.
Ric and Sonny had a tumultuous relationship from the start. Ric had a vendetta against Sonny, and when he married Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), who became pregnant. Ric’s psychotic former lover, Faith Rosco (Cynthia Preston), pushed Liz down the stairs.
Liz miscarried the baby, so Ric thought of a way to have a baby for him and Liz and get revenge on his brother. He kidnapped Carly Spencer (then Tamara Braun) and held her hostage in a panic room.
After Liz and Ric broke up over his evil actions, Ric married Alexis to increase her chances of getting custody of Kristina Corinthos-Davis (then Lexi Ainsworth). The two of them fell in love and had Molly.
After Alexis divorced, Ric and Liz gave their relationship another shot. She was in love with “Jake Doe,” whom she thought was Jason Morgan, but he was really Drew Cain (then played by Billy Miller). Once again, Ric made a sinister move, and Liz broke things off. Ric eventually cut his losses and left town.
Ric is coming back to Port Charles at an exciting time. His daughter is set to have a baby, which Kristina (now played by Kate Mansi) is carrying for Molly (now played by Kristen Vaganos) and T. J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: A Custody Battle Is Brewing
After today’s episode, it’s clear that Molly and T.J. Ashford will declare war on Kristina (now played by Kate Mansi). Molly and T.J. were not happy with Kristina’s interview with Perez Hilton.
Apparently, it’s all because Kristina didn’t tell Perez and the viewers that Kristina was carrying the baby for her sister, Molly, which is a ridiculous reason for them to be upset with her.
It wouldn’t surprise us if the parent-to-be showed up at Kristina’s place with adoption papers. But they may be in for a rude awakening. Kristina may decide she wants to keep the baby.
Ric will come home to support his daughter and potentially help her fight for custody of the baby. He may even be the lawyer that argues for Molly and T.J. to get custody, but if he’s up against Killer Miller (aka Diane Miller, played by Carolyn Hennesy), in which case he won’t stand a chance.
Ric’s return to Port Charles will undoubtedly affect many people in town. Sonny likely won’t welcome him with open arms after what he did to Carly when she was pregnant with Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).
Liz will likely not want anything to do with him. However, it can’t be a coincidence that Ric and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) return in the same month.
Ric cheated on Alexis, so their interaction won’t be all sunshine and roses. The one person who will be happy to see him is Molly.
Ric’s return will be explosive, with many twists, turns, and surprises.
