‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have been going strong since before Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) “died.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sam And Dante Have a Blended Family
The couple have seen a lot of ups and downs together but have come out to the other side. They have created a lovely little blended family, as Dante loves Sam’s kids as if they were his own, and they seem very happy.
Dante may be on the verge of popping the question, and under normal circumstances, she would jump for joy and accept his proposal.
However, can Sante survive now that Jason has returned to Port Charles? Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) worships the ground his dad walks on, and the bond between Jason and Sam formed when Danny was born is still between them.
Jason and Sam were once very much in love and fought to be together, but Jason’s role in Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) mob organization became a deal breaker for Sam. The two of them broke up before Jason’s disappearance and presumed death.
When Jason returned, Sam was furious with him for staying away so long, and she let him know it. She forbade Jason’s influence over their son and didn’t want Danny to chase danger as Jason did.
However, Sam’s anger toward Jason softened after he told her he worked for the FBI. She immediately knew Jason wouldn’t align himself with the Feds by choice.
She knows the Feds are holding something big over his head—cue computer genius and expert hacker Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Damian may be the only one who can help Sam uncover the dirty deeds of John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) and free Jason.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sam Would Risk Her Freedom for Jason
Sam wants to find out precisely what the FBI has on him, and she may even get Spinelli to destroy whatever leverage exists. Is it possible Sam and Spinelli could outsmart the FBI?
Of course, Sam will likely not be too thrilled that Jason stayed away from Danny to protect Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and certainly not after Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) went to prison to keep Carly from facing jail time after Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) ratted them out to the SEC.
Drew’s decision to protect Carly separated Drew from his child with Sam, Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante). Once Sam discovers the truth, she’ll do what she must to get Jason out of the deal.
One thing is clear: Sam would risk her freedom and her life with Dante to help Jason. If she’s willing to challenge the FBI, she’s serious about her concern for Jason.
Despite how she feels about what happened between them in the past, Sam may still love Jason, but she also loves Dante.
Her love for Dante feels safer and more comfortable for Sam, which she needed when she started dating Dante after her relationship with Jason.
But Sam and Jason were each other’s soulmates, and it wasn’t easy to walk away from that powerful, magnetic pull. Maybe the former couple were destined to have another chance at love.
