‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) may not be able to find true love because of family difficulties. Fans will remember that after Summer stood in for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) during the phony death incident, everything went apart for her and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
But this time, it won’t be Summer’s disorganized mother who causes trouble. Alternatively, Summer’s grandfather could be the issue as he frequently follows his own set of laws and believes he is above the law! It will become clear once more that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has a distinct style of doing things.
Victor will not give up on confronting Dave (Andre Hotchko), the driver of the delivery truck, in private in order to extract the complete truth from him, even though the police have already questioned him.

Because folks like Victor usually assume they can defy the authorities, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will argue with Victor and then vent to Summer. Summer, on the other hand, will jump to Victor’s rescue and express her sincere indifference to his current rule-breaking.
It’s concerning that this argument is already surfacing in their relationship, even if Chance will eventually back off. Part of the reason Chance left the police was because of individuals like Victor who take issues into their own hands and do as they like.
This might become a deal-breaker for her romance because Summer will always excuse Victor from doing such in serious instances affecting her family. Since Chance already encountered such problems during his marriage to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), he has no reason to believe that things will be any different if he continues down this amorous path with Summer.
