‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) recently sat vigil next to an unconscious Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), saying that she had “big news” and that he was the only person she wanted to share it with.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dante’s Coma Could Last for a Long Time
In the soap world, that could mean something life-altering. Many fans assumed the news was that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was alive, but Dante is already well aware of that fact.
We think that Sam might be pregnant with Dante’s child. It would be a very soapy twist and heighten the drama in a very tense situation.
However, Dante’s coma may last for a very long time. No one knows if or when he’s going to wake up. Once Jason is cleared of the charges, Sam may find herself drawn to Jason again.
Sam hasn’t exactly been shy about expressing her doubt about Jason’s innocence; in all fairness, the evidence points to him.
However, she’s not thinking rationally. She must know deep down that Jason would never shoot Dante. Let’s not forget that the evidence also says that Jason used his sweatshirt to tie around Dante’s wound; he elevated his feet and called 911.
There’s no denying that Sam loves Dante, but she was married to Jason, and they share a son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
Not to mention what brought Sam and Jason together in the first place. Years ago, Sam became pregnant with Sonny Corinthos‘s (Maurice Benard) baby.
During one of Sonny and Carly Spencer‘s (Laura Wright) many breaks, Sonny realized he still loved Carly, and the two got back together, as Jason stepped up to help Sam raise her daughter.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sam Could Have Another Baby Lila
Jason and Sam named her Lila McCall prematurely. Lila Quartermaine (Anna Lee) was Jason’s late grandmother’s name. Sam and Jason decided they would give her a family, and Jason would be her legal father.
Unfortunately, Sam’s daughter was stillborn. It was heart-wrenching for both of them. But now, if Sam is pregnant, it could give Jason and Sam another chance if Dante doesn’t wake up.
Sam thinks she will never forgive Jason but doesn’t know he’s innocent. Once she does, her old feelings for him may rise to the surface.
Jason and Sam were once very much in love. Who could forget their September 2011 wedding when they were declared husband and wife at the Noodle Buddha Chinese restaurant?
It was much more romantic than it sounds, but JaSam fans will never forget that moment. Jason and Sam may find their way back to each other.
If Sam is having Dante’s child, she will obviously wait a long time for him to wake up, but during that time, she may find herself falling for Jason again.
Jason’s the type of man who would be willing to help her with the baby. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the baby was a girl and Sam named her Lila?
It looks like Jason and Sam may be further apart than they have been, but don’t count them out yet. Their love story is just getting started.
