‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: With Heather Being Saves and Redeemed, Will the New Writers Save Gregory?

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers aren’t impressed with the show’s new writers, but we’re willing to give them the benefit of the doubt since their first episode was reported to be on Friday, March 15 instead of earlier.

Still, despite messing up several characters, it looks like they could be making some storyline changes with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) possibly finding a way to save his father.

Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) has been diagnosed with ALS for a while and the show has shown a rapid decline in his faculties.

We’ve been hoping for an eleventh hour cure for him, and with Heather Webber (Alley Mills) getting a chance to not be so crazy due to poisoning from her hip replacement we’re hopeful it means good news for Gregory and Finn.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Where there’s a will

For all intents and purposes, it looks like Heather’s diagnosis came out of nowhere after she was complaining about her hip, which makes sense and tends to be how we learn about health issues.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are curious as it looks like toxins from her hip implant have been causing her mental issues that turned her psychotic, and once it’s removed there’s the possibility she can heal and be more like her old self.

It’s a cool storyline as it humanizes her and shows there can be causes for some of our problems that come from the best of intentions.

It also opens the door for her to redeem herself in some way, and she could end up with a commuted sentence because of it.

Or they could be looking to kill her off, which we really hope they don’t do. She’s just so much fun!

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – is Gregory next?

In the same episode it was decided to perform the operation, Finn called a friend of his that’s one of the best people in treating ALS and asked him if he could help his father.

While it looks like his friend wasn’t able to right then, there’s a good chance he’ll have Finn send Gregory’s file to look at and he may spot something.

Maybe an infection or some ailment that looks like ALS, but because they’re so close the doctors didn’t look deeper.

This would be great news all around as Gregory has quickly become one of our favorites, and we’d love to see him and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) in a relationship.

He’s really humanized her and it’ll be a real shame if the writers don’t find a way to keep him around to further their storyline.

Is there hope for Gregory? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
