‘General Hospital'(GH) spoilers disclose that Josslyn Jacks (temporarily played by Courtney Fulk) will find her study buddy, Adam Wright (Joshua Benard), in a very alarming condition.
Spoilers indicate that Joss will come across a very drunk Adam. He decided to use alcohol to alleviate the stress and pressure he was under due to his very demanding, high-maintenance parents.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Adam Wants Some Relief
Adam is freaking out and needs some relief, so he gets drunk instead of doing what he needs to do. He needs to confront his parents.
He has confided in Joss that becoming a doctor isn’t what he wants but what his parents expect of him. Adam may have a different dream that he wanted to pursue, but his parents wouldn’t allow it, such as being a musician.
He can sing and play the guitar, so he may have what it takes. Unfortunately, Adam’s parents don’t seem to think what he wants really matters.
According to Adam, his father comes down super hard on him about his grades. We still wonder if Adam’s father might be a GH character we already know. Adam didn’t even want to go home for Christmas break because he didn’t want to be around his parents.
Compounding Adam’s problems is his pill-popping habit, which the show may explore the dangers of using pills to study and what educational pressure can do to an aspiring student.
Adam may tell Joss that he is fine, but she knows better. When she sees Adam drunk, it could occur to her that his mental health is at stake. Joss may realize that Adam’s state of mind keeps worsening, which may be enough to convince her to try to go to great lengths to help him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Joss Goes to Extremes to Help Adam
Joss will inevitably confide in her man, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), and he will likely be very worried about Joss getting in too deep when it comes to helping Adam.
Something about the situation may seem dangerous to him, and Dex doesn’t want that for her. Joss may tell Dex that she plans to talk to Adam’s parents about the stress they have inflicted on Adam.
Dex will try to talk her out of it, but much like her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), she won’t take no for an answer.
Based on Adam’s reaction to Joss asking him about his family on Thanksgiving, Adam wouldn’t like her doing that either.
Joss may be setting herself up for a heated argument with Adam’s parents if they don’t like what she says. Joss will surely explain that Adam is destroying his health in a misguided attempt to get the grades his parents expect from him. However, her parents may become upset with her for interfering.
But Joss isn’t afraid of anyone being upset with her. She’s the type of person who will go out of her way to help someone in need, and Adam needs some help.
Joss will also feel compelled to help him because she doesn’t want to see anything bad happen to Adam, and if things keep going in this direction, Adam may put himself in harm’s way.
