‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Josslyn Jacks‘ (Eden McCoy) and Adam Wright’s (Joshua James Benard) friendship turns dark as obsession, insecurity, and instability plague Adam, and it may get out of control.
Right now, it seems like Adam and Josslyn are becoming friendly, but Joss should be wary of Adam’s attention. She doesn’t think anything of it, but Adam has serious mental health issues.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Adam’s Inner Turmoil is Brewing
We saw him practically ripping his hair out, staring at his “bad grade,” which was still an A. Joss wants to help Adam, but he may have more in mind.
His parents pressure Adam to get perfect grades and become a doctor. He routinely has panic attacks because he worries he may not live up to his parent’s expectations.
Besides his new friendship with Joss, Adam also seems to be alone. He may start developing feelings for her, but Joss is with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), and they are beyond happy together.
GH spoilers indicate that Dex will warn Joss about Adam. He will observe Adam’s behavior and sense that he wants to be more than Joss’s study buddy.
Remember when Adam hit on Joss after she showed up with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) in the revenge porn video that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) made.
At the time, Adam assumed that she had consented to make the video, or perhaps he thought it was her idea. At any rate, Joss was quick to put him in his place.
After reading Joss’s story in The Invader, he quickly apologized to her for making her uncomfortable. She graciously accepted his apology.
However, in light of Joss and Adam working so closely together, he may be getting the wrong idea. Adam’s crush on Joss may prove dangerous as his mental health escalates.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Adam Could Go Over the Edge
Interestingly, Joshua is Maurice Benard‘s son, and he is playing the role of someone with serious mental health struggles.
Since the apple does not fall far from the tree, Joshua will most likely be a phenomenal actor and play this storyline beautifully.
Adam may be bipolar or perhaps severe anxiety, but he could also have a dark side. How will he handle Joss rejecting him if she starts to realize he wants more than friendship?
The simple truth is that no one knows Adam. He doesn’t appear to have familial ties in Port Charles or anyone else he’s close to.
Adam may be so unstable that he could do something shocking if Joss rebuffs his advances. He could harm himself or, heaven forbid, become suicidal.
Joss may feel responsible if he does anything to hurt himself, especially if she makes an honest effort to be his friend.
Sometimes, people with no one become attached to the first person who is nice to them or tries to help them. This fixation may be the case with Adam and Joss.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that Adam may try to put the moves on Joss once again. It’s only a matter of time before Dex’s warning becomes a reality, and Adam becomes dangerously obsessed with her.
